A/N: So I'm on a fairytale hype - I've started to watch Once Upon A Time, Into the Woods, Maleficent and now Tangled, SO HAVE ANOTHER FANFIC!
This was going to be called Banksy but I think Banksy's work (Please google if you don't know who he is) is more satirical, Zel's isn't, hers is more about the happiness she sees in her world.
Enjoy little ones
Mysterious pieces of graffiti started to appear when Rapunzel returned to Corona. Small things at first; croci and daisies at the bottom of some houses and then Maximus with a mouthful of apples. These first few were painted over, but they soon reappeared, slightly different but nevertheless by the same bandit. The King and Queen thought of putting out a decree asking for it to stop when a portrait appeared of them, life size, on the side of another home. They said nothing but allowed it to continue.
They only appeared in the dark ends of the city, where the poorer people survived. The house weren't exactly broken down but the wealth was nowhere near as grand as the square where Rapunzel had danced all those years ago.
Eugene appeared next, looking suave leaning against a wall. Then, one of the cooks at the Royal Household; followed by the four little girls that had plaited the Princess' hair when she first arrived as a bare foot tourist; the famous concert pianist, Hook was the next one to be drawn, eyes closed, laughing as he played his piano. A giant of a man, with a Maximus sized unicorn behind him. The inebriated little man appeared leaning drunkenly against the side of the biggest tavern. Pascal appeared on the children's home.
When Rapunzel snuck back into the castle one night, paint splotching the blue dress, hands filthy, she almost screamed when she saw Eugene leaning against the wall opposite the door.
"What are you doing awake?" She whispered, eyes wide.
"I could ask you the same." He murmured, taking her paint covered hands in his.
"How did you know?" She looked down at her toes, thankfully in boots. His boots.
"I've waited by 5 different doors the past 5 nights." He lifted her chin to bring her eyes up to his. "I guessed when you drew me, my butt always looks good in your drawings." He smiled at her, laughing when she did the same.
"You're not mad?" She whispered as he led her down the corridor to their bedroom.
"Why would I be? I grew up in the rough end of this city, you gave it some colour." He kissed her softly, chuckling as her bright green hand came up to his cheek. "What did you draw this time?"
"I think you'll like it." She smiled.
Sure enough, word spread like wildfire when the city folk woke to a new drawing by their mysterious artist.
Their lost Princess with Pascal on her shoulder, her parents to her left, Eugene to her right with Maximus right behind him as well, the thugs mingled in the background with every servant that Rapunzel could remember also making up the crowd. There was other townspeople, like the families that lived inside the slightly knackered stone building, the back of which Rapunzel had stolen for this mural. The four girls were also sat at the front of the picture and right above all of them was the emblem of the sun which meant so much to the kingdom.
