"What are Dean's socks doing here, Balthazar?" Castiel had one of them at arms length. He was peering at it curiously, his head tilted.
"He must have left them last time he was here" Balthazar's tone was dismissive and he refused to meet Cas's gaze.
"Balthazar, we are in Heaven. Dean would not leave his socks here. Also, I have found more. Why are they here?"
"Jealous, Cassie?" teased Balthaza; his eyes glittered with mirth.
"Jealousy is a human emotion. I can't feel such a thing" replied Cas, clearly confused by the remark. "I just don't understand why there is a pile of socks in this heaven."
He turned away from the socks and was met with a view of Balthazar's chin. He looked up locking eyes with the other angel.
"You're jealous, that's cute" said Balthazar before pressing his lips to Cas'.
If it was jealousy to not want Balthazar to have Dean's socks and in turn to have his lips attached to Balthazar's, Cas thought, then that was okay with him.
Back on Earth, Dean had spent a fortune on socks, not knowing how he kept managing to lose them.
