Most of the time ever since
I scorn myself for being like this
Myself, my existence, and also my life
This feeling in me… a feeling of 'strife'.
I look at my hands, which are covered in blood,
These hands that failed to protect the one that I loved
I'm alone in this place, with no one to hug
No one to hug to keep myself warm.
A useless revenge, I knew what you'd say
And she's gone forever, come what may
I tried to protect her, but I failed;
And now I stand alone, in the cold rain.
A thousand youkai I have killed, Cho Gonou is my name
Nothing but my fangs and claws— these are what I gained
A human from before; a youkai I've become,
I already know the sins I've committed— will never be undone.

Author's note: Hi! I'm back. I hope it's ok… I love angst… I'll be typing my next poem, entitled 'Dark Misery' (Goku). It was made the day after I made 'Solitude'. After typing 'Dark Misery' I'll be typing my other poem, entitled 'Crimson Curse' (Gojyo). It was made after I made 'Dark Misery'… so I made 3 poems in 3 days… 'Solitude', 'Dark Misery', then 'Crimson Curse'. ^^ Gomenasai, I haven't made an angst poem on Sanzo… but I'll work on it— in school… since that's where I get my angst… hehe… maa… jaa ne!! ^_^
