Pocahontas climbed to the top of the trees and spotted the ships coming in. "I have to tell the others." She said to herself. But it hit her, what if she gets introuble with her father? He'll never let her live it down. She climbed down the tree and waited in the bushes.
After a few of the men got off the ship, she snuck onboard and into the cabin. She closed the door behind her and searched for something to get rid of the ship itself.
While searching she heard footsteps just outside the door. She turned and saw a large man with black hair. "Who are you? What are you doing on my ship?" He shouted. "I... I was just..." before she could explain she noticed a little dog next to the man's feet. "Is that your wolf?" she asked. "Wolf? You mean Percy? He's a dog my dear." explained the man, "By the way, my name is Ratcliffe." "Pocahontas." she smiled as the large man bowed in front of her.
After a few minutes, Pocahontas decided to stay on the ship with the man and talk to him. "So what is England?" Pocahontas asked Ratcliffe as he gave her a mug of coffee. "It's a beautiful, but..." Ratcliffe turned his head and frowned. "But what?" Pocahontas asked. "Sometimes it's hard for me to roam the streets of England. You don't know how hard it is to go somewhere without someone pointing fingers and laughing at you." Ratcliffe picked up a picture laying on his desk and began to cry. "Actually," started Pocahontas, "I do know. I have a sister who does that a lot." The became very sad right then and there. Suddenly Ratcliffe lifted his head up, "Would you like to come back?" "Of course, that would be great." Pocahontas smiled as she took one last sip of her coffee and got up to leave.
The next day Pocahontas made her way back to the ship's cabin and met Ratcliffe there. "It's a very lovely evening." Ratcliffe smiled. "Yes it is." Pocahontas smiled back. A bit of silence filled the room until Pocahontas started speaking again. "Do you know a man named John Smith?" she asked. "Yes, I do." Ratcliffe said with a sigh, "He's one of my men. I knew him ever since we were young. He always got all the girls, while I got turned away." Ratcliffe frowned again. Pocahontas stared into his lonely eyes. She knew he felt pain, a really deep pain. She wanted to help him. "Come with me." said Pocahontas leading Ratcliffe to the door. "Where are we going?" Ratcliffe asked. "We're going to a place I call my home." Pocahontas rushed out the door taking Ratcliffe by the hand.
When the two got to their destination, they saw butterflies spread through the air. Animals playing, birds chirping. It was a dream come true for Ratcliffe to see such beautiful things. "My dear, why did you bring me here?" asked Ratcliffe. "To tell you something..." Pocahontas looked down and then looked up at Ratcliffe again, "I... love you." she said laying her head on his chest. Ratcliffe took his hand and placed it on her head, "There, there my dear. I love you as well." The two looked into each other's eyes and soon brought their heads together for a kiss.
