Nobody's Perfect.

Look, this is based off an alternate reality. The main plot is that Nicole and her little brother grew up with an *ahem* ghetto backround. Don't get butthurt over the things I have mentioned in here BECAAAAUUUUSSSSEEEEE

1. I have experienced some of these events. (I didn't have the best childhood ._.)

2. Butthurt people are meaniemcbuttfaces. Nuff' said.

3. I live in the US and it is MY right as an American citizen of the United States of America to speak my mind.

-Nicole's POV-

I sat on the old porch of the apartment complex.

It was night outside, and I was holding my little brother in my arms. My mother couldn't take care of him because she stuck a needle thing up her arm. My father went to prison for the fifth time. Momma said I wouldn't be able to see him for 2184 more days. He left 371 days ago. It filled up a whole calendar! She said I'll need many more until he comes home, though.

The sandpaper flooring was the most comforable surface in the whole complex. It was sad, really, the carpet, if you'd even consider it carpet at this point, couldn't even beat the ripped, sully rust home implant. The carpets didn't feel any better then walking barefoot on the passageway, which consisted of a mixure of dust, dirt, gravel, and illegal items. Most likely needles and items involved in crimes.

I suddendly winced.

My body still hurt from when momma threw a fit.

She started crying afterwards and she gave me little James. (.I think thats the name of her little brother but I'm not sure ._.)

Suddenly, I start hearing yelling from infront of our porch, dowstairs.

"Ayeeee... Yo' flertin' weth me gerlfri' ovar ther?" One drunk guy accused the other.

"Wash'it weth ou'!" The accused yelled back.

Man one looked annoyed and wabbled away, and the accused man smirked in victory.

Until man one came back with a shotgun.

There was a loud noise, then red. It was all over.

The accused man's head was on the floor and his body was in a different place.

'That's a weird magic trick' I thought.

The red was coated on James and I.

James was wailing and a little bit later robins came.

Their cars had blue, white, and red lights. The robins wore these funny blue suits with big yellow badges. They look like cartoon charaters. Four officers came upstairs, noticing my brother and I were covered in the red sticky stuff. They didn't look happy when they could smell the apartment.

I never saw momma again after they cleaned me up.
