Far away

"Help me". "Help me". You can see in her eyes a silent plea; a beg, a demand. You want to, no, you need to, but no, you can't because if you help her then it's over with her. So you stand back and watch. As you watch her, you can't help but realize what would've happened if you stayed with her.

Probably getting an internship at some upcoming fashion label, gradually gaining attention and respect from designers whilst you and her share a 2 bedroom apartment near the middle of the city, having Chinese takeout when your both too lazy to cook. And crying over that movie that you two just adore! But no, so you now you would've enjoyed those extra calories ( because with her it's like starvation nation) just for the sake of having a best friend; a metaphorical sister ; time of your life; and the thing you'll ever have ; a r e a l f r i e n d.

But you look at her and become curious as to what will happen with her. She'd entice and persuade you to show her the designs that you only showed her. So then you get a call from the assistant to the fashion director at Vogue, and you freak out. Not like freak out when that episode of your favourite show came and you and her spent the double lesson of the subject you both hate secretly texting ( cause n o b o d y else can know) , about "Omgosh! They sooo like each other! Can't they just kiss and go out?" and "Ooh he is á¹³ber cute!"

But different as in you don't have full enthusiasm from the provider (h e r). And the fact that you don't even care that you have to get up at 6:30 in the morning for a job which you have to be on the coffee r u n. So you thank her don't listen to Liz as she tells you that she doesn't even care and was arrogantly smirking while you weren't looking. So, after a while you start to wonder why you believed the lies of the dirty-blonde headed demon.

Oh. But you didn't forget until Anna Wintour (yes, THAT Anna Wintour whom you idolize) was yelling at you because "I WANTED DE-FREAKING-CAF! "

So here you are, living with your parents, because Cammie didn't want your "ugly" furniture inher apartment, and besides; she had better things to do, like oh so quietly stab another person's back. And you're here wondering what she's doing and if she's okay.

And if you could go back to that day, 5 years ago, and say no to Cammie and hope that Liz will join you in hopes of becoming friends again with Bex, then you would. But you do know how she is; Grant and her are somewhere in New York. How do you know that? Oh, well Grant had a heart and secretly sent you a postcard on one of their "holidays". But let's face it, he doesn't care. Except for the all important factor of she still misses you and he's the one who holds her at night whilst she's crying over you and your mistakes
