Leon POV

She walked in starlight.

The Doll that changed his life.

Her face captivated without need to, icy cold, so above common emotion, and yet... beautiful.

She was a star, Leon thought.

Her bright light melted him.

It let all his prejudice slip from him,

like pulling and tearing a paper from a book,

so fell so many of the pages that had once belonged to him,

and put something stronger in it's place.

Hope.

She had brought him hope for a future that he never let himself dream of.

To travel like his father did.

No longer waiting for a mother that did not love him enough,

No longer waiting for another chance at reading an adventure he would never get to experience.

She was his incentive to push and push until he found himself in places and with people he could never have dreamt up in his half-starved dreams.

"Thank you Violet," he would whisper to the dark starry night. Their cold light shining on his grateful face, the cold chill air a kiss even from all the miles he knew separated them. "I love you Violet."

The stars twinkled down at him.
