Practice was going well like usual, Hinata jumped to slam the ball down, but he had missed timed the jump and when he finally hit the ball, it was on his fingers but the force caused them to bend back, all the way back. The ball was returned from Yamaguchi and the ball continued o be in play, except Hinata couldn't play any longer.

Hinata called for Noya who was on his team and requested he come over while he discreetly cradled his hand, "I didn't hit the ball right and I can't feel my hands," Noya looked down to see that they were red and were bent back. He wanted to gag at the sight but decided against it. The ball came towards them and Noya hit the toss that was ment for Hinata. It just went over luckily, skimming the net.

"Suga-senpai," Noya called out while pulling the ginger off the court and told his classmates to sub them in. Suga followed the males as they just walked out of the gym hall and into the main building of the school.

"He's broke his hand," Noya explained as he led them through the halls. A few of the classmates stared at them as they walked. It was rare to see them wearing their uniforms in the building but they weren't going to get changed when they were in a hurry.

A female classmate of Noya's went to speak to him but he shooed her away and said he'd text her later on. Hinata wanted to make a joke but he was biting his lip from screaming out. Somewhere between walking from the gym to the infirmary feeling came back on his hand and to was excruciatingly painful.

Suga opened the doors as they walked through the halls while Noya had an arm around Himata's shoulder and was whispering soothing things. Hinata didn't really listen as he was in so much pain. He followed Suga into the infirmary and took a seat on a chair while Suga spoke to Saitome the nurse of the school.

"I think he's broken his hand," he explained to the woman who rushed over to see for herself. She asked him for a couple of exams that she conducted and felt his fingers.

"Suga you can drive...take him to the hospital. He'll need to be properly looked after. Nishinoya you go get his stuff," the woman turned to make a couple of phone calls while the boys did as they were told.

Noya rushed to the gym hall and found Hinata's bag and lifted it up, "Yuu where you going?" Asahi asked looking slightly sad and worried.

"The hospital," he also grabbed his own bag and Suga's before rushing off to the car park where he found Suga and Hinata getting into the car. Noya jumped into the back and wrapped an arm around his kohai as Suga hopped in and pulled away.

The drive wasn't that far which was great and the car park was generally empty. Suga found a space nearest the door and rushed Hinata in, Noya undoing his seatbelt. Noya kept close to him and continued to talk softly to him.

They walked into the hospital and Suga told the reception table that their friend had a broken hand and were given a form to fill out. They took a seat and Suga filled out the form, such as his name, his birthday, occupation, emergency contact number. Noya snuggled into the males shoulder, his hand stroking his shoulder. His phone buzzed and he answered it.

"Hey...aren't you supposed to be in class," Hinata looked to his senpai who showed him the caller ID to show that it was Asahi. Hinata nodded his head slowly, closed his eyes, just trying to breath.

"..."

"I'm fine. Don't worry. Please calm down," Noya rolled his eyes and hung up without saying goodbye and turned to Hinata who was muttering to himself to keep calm.

"Shou-ni!" Hinata looked up to see his little sister running towards him with his mother fast on her trail. He held out his good arm and she climbed onto his knee and kissed his forehead. Suga stood up and handed the receptionist the form before walking back to see that Hinata's mother had taken his seat. His mother had a dark shade of red hair that was long and straight while Shōyō's sister had curly ginger hair like her brother.

"What's your name," Noya asked the little girl.

"Natsu," she called back with a large grin on her face. She had the same smile as her brother and he had to admit it was fairly cute. Especially when she hugged into her big brother. She seemed really worried for him.

"Nice to meet you Natsu, I'm Yuu," he grinned back taking her hand and shaking it softly. Natsu looked to her brother who let out a small groan and nuzzled her head into his chest. She noticed that they were all in their gym clothes and decided to play with her brother's hairless legs.

"Is that short for anything? Like Yuusuke?" She asked while she was busy tickling her brothers knee. Hinata barely noticed the soothing sensation on his leg. His hand was killing him.

"No just Yuu," Natsu nodded her head while she continued to play with her brothers knee.

"Shōyō-chan," The said male looked up to see a doctor standing before him. He was very tall and had short brown hair. "If you'd like to follow me. Your family can come," The male nodded and everyone got up and followed the doctor.

They walked into a small room and Hinata took a seat on a bed, "First thing...here," the doctor gave him a small cup of water and a tablet. "Painkiller. You are in pain no doubt," Hinata nodded and took the cup and opened his mouth for the tablet as his right hand was out of commission.

The doctor dropped it in and allowed the male to swallow it down with the aid of water. The doctor took the empty cup and threw it into the trash before returning to Hinata, "Can you tell me how it happened but I can assume sport?"

"I was playing volleyball and I went to hit the ball but my timing was off so I hit the ball with my fingers and not my palm," he explained in shaky breaths. The doctor led the male for a quick x-ray and told him to return to the room while he got the results.

The doctor came in ten minutes later and nodded his head, "Defiantly broken. You managed to break your fingers at the base. We will give you a cast and hope the bones will fix themselves, there isn't much we can do," Hinata nodded and watched as the male grabbed material for the cast and began to plaster him up.

"I'd recommend not to do volleyball during this time or any sport really. Running you can still do if you need to do sport," Hinata looked sad but nodded his head all the same. Of course he couldn't play volleyball. He watched as his skin disappeared and was replaced with a large plaster cast that covered his hand.

"I'd suggest you take pain killers when you need them and I'll see you in 8 weeks," Hinata nodded and the group left and headed to the cars, Hinata going with Suga and Noya back to school.

The three returned to school and changed in the locker rooms with the core P.E males - mainly band geeks, chest nerds and anime otaku's. Noya was changed first and helped Hinata to strip and get dressed due to his bad hand.

Noya followed Hinata to his class while Suga had important senpai things to do. Noya walked into the classroom with Hinata behind. The class turned to see Noya walk in like it was his classroom and dump Hinata's bag at his seat and unzipped it for him before walking out. Hinata waved goodbye with his large white plastered hand.

A few class members gasped along with the teacher who walked over to see if he needed anything, "We'll get someone to write down the notes for you and we'll get them copied over. Kageyama you have nice handwriting, will you let him copy?" The teacher asked. The male nodded. He sat in front of Hinata and turned to see his bad hand.

...

The lesson finished and school eventually ended. Kageyama walked out of the school with Hinata, once they were far from the school Kageyama slipped his fingers into Hinata's. They walked in silence for the longest time.

After dating for about a month, this was as far they went. It was nice. It was simple. They soon arrived at Hinata's house and they just stared at the door, "Want to come in?" Kageyama nodded his head and followed the male inside.

"I'm back and I have a friend with me," Hinata announced. He sat down on the floor and tried to undo his shoes but needed help. Kageyama bent down to undo his boyfriend shoes. Natsu came running over with a teddy in her hand.

"Shou-ni!" She smiled and climbed onto his shoulders. Kageyama pulled the shoes off before taking his own off.

"Where's mum?"

"At work," Hinata nodded his head and walked into the living room. The living room had two sofa's: a three seater on the back wall and two seater to the left wall. Hinata took a seat on the two seater and watched as Kageyama sat down beside him, nervously. "Imma play in my room," Natsu skipped away.

"Was that my fault?" Kageyama eventually asked looking to the bad hand of his boyfriend. Hinata shook his head slowly and pawed Kageyama's hand.

"It was an accident. I timed my jump late...it's not your fault," The two sat in a comfortable silence for a long time.

"Hinata," The said male turned and saw how his boyfriend was blushing deep red. The two stared at each other for a moment, blue eyes boring into chestnut. The taller male turned his body round to face him and leaned in and brushed his lips against the smaller male. They ghosted over the other lips for a moment before he pulled back and looked away at a portrait of the Hinata family.

Hinata looked to his paw and brushed it softly against his boyfriends hip, "That was nice," He blushed. "One more," he breathed out and the gap closed between them where they kissed a little deeper, the lips remained touching for a second longer than last. Kageyama pulled back once again and stared at the male before him. His cheeks were red and he had a look of lust in his eyes.

The raven lifted the male up so that he sat on his lap and pressed his lips against the other. His lips were warm and soft and generally just perfect. He felt his bad hand go on his shoulder and could feel the weight of the cast on him. He leaned back on the couch and Hinata fell forward, his hips sliding forward.

"Oh my," The two turned to see Hinata's dad standing with a small smile. He his hands full of messages and from the looks of it they were about to snap off, "Are you my sons boyfriend?" He asked kindly while walking into the kitchen to put away the messages. He let out a small groan as the blood rushed back to his fingers.

"Yes sir," The raven replied politely. Shōyō rolled of Kageyama, feeling extremely embarressed to be caught in such a position but somehow found a sense of relief as they may have gone further if Hinata's dad never walked in and stopped them.

"Shōyō unpack them will ya," Kageyama noticed that the male had dark brown hair but it was incredibly curly. The red head stood up and walked into the kitchen and looked at the things he had to un-pack. There was a lot of things that would requite to functioning hands.

"Kageyama, help me," Shōyō called out from the kitchen, staring at larg bottle of coke and cans. Kageyama would be kind enough to help him.

"You can do it yourself. Don't be lazy," Hinata rolled his eyes and walked over to his father and showed him his paw. The dad gasped and looked it over and sighed.

"I'll do it. You two go to your room if you are going to continue," The dad sighed and walked away. Hinata looked back at his bad hand with a small smile. Kageyama feels bad, his dad is doing his chores, maybe it wasn't going to be too bad.

...
