A/N: Once again, as with most of my MLP fics, if you weren't a member of C03 you will probably have a hard time following. The important thing to know is that Sherbet lost her mind the night that Kail died, which was the night the locket that they speak of was destroyed. This follows eight years after the Evil Kail AU story.

The world is supposed to be green.

No, it's purple.

Green.

Purple, like a bruise.

Green, like the land across the Rainbow.

The land across the Rainbow is drained of magic.

No its not, I've been there.

You're crazy.

Well, at least that much was true. Sherbet was crazy. But she remembered - barely - a time when the world had been green. Everything green like Kail; now it was purple like Razz.

"The world was green!" It was out of her mouth before she realized she was speaking out loud. With a blush she looked up at her corn and black companion, but he didn't seem to be paying her much attention.

"Hmm, that it was," he said automatically, and Sherbet stuck her inner tongue out at her inner voice.

I told you the world was green.

But now it's purple.

But it shouldn't be purple, it should be green. Somewhere - in the real now - it's green.

This is the real now.

No.

Yes.

NO.

YES.

Fine, you delusional little psycho, you just keep following this ex-Champion around, searching for bits of Kail that you will never find.

He promised to tell me. "Hollow, you promised to tell me."

"I will, love, at dinner."

"Where are we going?"

"To find the locket."

But the locket's broken.

No, it's not; it's in the Dream Valley vaults, locked up safe.

No, Razz gave it to you, and you gave it to Kail you silly filly.

Kail has the locket then; we need to find Kail.

Kail is dead!

Oh yeah. Kail is dead, green is dead; the world is purple now, like Razzarroo.

"We should ask Uncle Razz. He knows where it is."

Hollow sighed - he remembered Sherbet as reckless and clumsy, but not stupid. This was at least the fourth time he'd explained things to her. "Razz won't tell me where the locket is, and he won't tell you about Kail. So I'm going to tell you as much as I know about Kailani and you are going to lead me to where I can find the locket."

"But, I don't know where the locket is."

"It doesn't matter." He broke into a trot, hoping to reach Dream Valley by nightfall. Neither of them knew that the locket he spoke of was really a crystal, and it was around Sherbet's neck.
