Samuel and me are now standing in front of everyone; ex-glee contestants, writers, producers, actors and dancers. I can´t breathe and I think Samuel can´t as well. Ryan is saying something but I won´t listen, all I need to hear is my name after the part "you are the new glee member…"
"I think they are both amazing." Says Zach as he looks at me and Samuel. I take a long look at him and after some seconds he turns around and our eyes meet. I smile at him and he responds. He is condescending; I know he wants me to lose. I want him to lose too but at least I´m a better actor than him and I try not to let it show. Samuel doesn´t care anymore.
"It´s just too hard to just pick one." says Robert as he glimpse at Ryan and the Zach.
No, it is not. It is me. I´m the best, I deserve to win, I know it and you too Robert. Just please say my name.
"You know, it was a hard decision for me but had said that." Oh my god I think I´m going to fade out because of the lack of oxygen. Please Ryan, don´t torture us anymore, I need to know. "Samuel." No please. "You have won the glee project."
Samuel is so happy and I applauded him, I´m not mad at him but I wanted this so bad I think I´m about to cry. Lindsay hugs Samuel and she is screaming like if she had been the one that won. After that Samuel approaches me and hugs me as well. I thought it was like a pity hug but it wasn´t.
"You know you should have won." He says and then he keeps his way to hug Alex that seems really upset. I can´t blame him.
I look at you and I feel jealous. But no, you deserve it. I was good but there is a reason for everything right?
"And how do you feel Damian?" asks me Ryan; is he mocking me? I fake a smile and I look t the crowd. Hanna and Cameron are watching me with sad eyes. Cameron gave me his chance and I lost it. 'I´m sorry Cam'. I´m sorry I disappointed you.
"Well I´m happy Samuel won because he deserves it but…I´m kind of sad because, I man I was so near of this and…" I say something more but my brain clicked to pilot and I talk just between lines. I don´t know what I´m saying anymore.
"Well, that´s okay but I have to tell you." I look up and my brain returns to life. Ryan has something more to say? "You…" again I can´t breathe, everyone is silent. "…have also won the glee project."
I smile and I start jumping. I may look like a dump but I´m so happy. He is not lying, I won. I really won. I canpt believe it and I want to cry. Everyone is screaming and I know that there, between all those screams and jumps Cameron and Hanna are watching me. Samuel approaches me and hugs me.
"I knew it!" he screams and I hug him tighter.
"We won!" I scream but our voices can´t be heard because the external noise. Samuel reaches me and hugs me again.
I got to stay on my ground cause it´s my time. If you are with me let me hear you say that is OUR time.
