Bride with No Wings

Two years have passed since the end of the war and their crazy adventure. Things have never been boring for the four of them.
Echo and Fives have become key members or the Galaxy Guard. While the girls shine with the Sky Dancers. Song is known for her wonderful customs and set designs and Bloom has become the Prema of the group. A title that makes her blush anytime someone calls her it, which Fives takes advantage of.
It's a clear day on Mandalore as Song works on Bloom's dress with the help of a droid to do the sewing and stitching. Bloom tries to stand still while her dresses final alterations are made.
(White strapless with a low back and mermaid style skirt/ the center has a bloom design/ vial is simple with a snow flake design)
"I can't believe my wedding is in a week." Bloom touches her crystal as she takes a deep breath.

Song smiled saying "Believe it and about time. I was wondering when I could finally get this made. I also think Fives has been itching to see you in it." They both laughed at the way Fives blushed anytime the wedding dress was mentioned.
While song did do allot of work with the Sky Dancers she also did a little biology research of her own with Echo when they had free time. One of them they would be starting tomorrow.
"I'm sorry I have to leave a week before the wedding and come back only the day before. But when I heard news of the seemingly extinct lothwolf reemerge after a hundred years I couldn't pass up the opportunity."

"Don't be." Bloom shakes her head slightly. "Just remember to take tones of photos. Though I'm not sure how Moon is going to react to her beloved Brave being gone for a week." She laughs.
"All done Miss Domino." The robot wheels off.
"Miss Domino… I can't get used to that." Bloom's wings flutter as she stares at herself in the long mirror.
"Well now, that looks amazing." Li walks in smiling at his little girl.
"Thanks dad. And thank you for paying for this." Bloom flushes as she steps down from the stand.
"I'm just glad I get to be here for this." Li brushes his hand across her cheek.
"Oh wait! Wasn't there a council meeting today? Are you okay on time?" Bloom looks over at the clock.
"Oh I do have to get going." Li looks over at the time. "Enjoy your day." Li kisses her forehead before leaving.

Song smiled at the father and daughter and said "I'm glad to see you two are getting along. Oh I'm gonna miss you."
She hugged her and said "I'll take all the pictures I can. And you can be the first to read mine and Echo's research paper if you want. Now let's get you out of that dress and let's hurry off to find the boys. We did say we all have dinner tonight before we left."
Bloom nodded as they got ready to go. Once they left they never noticed a menacing figure come out looking at the dress disgustingly thinking 'Well that just won't do will it. I think it needs a splash of red. Hahaha.' Suddenly red petals fell over the designs of the wedding.
At the apartment the girls came in chattering but stopped when they smelled something delicious cooking "Mmm Echo is that my favorite. Is all this wedding planning making you nostalgic."
Echo laughed form the kitchen with Fives as he said "Partially, the other part was that since Fives isn't the best cook I decided to take advantage."
The lothdogs seemed to bark in laughter as Fives grumbled something about not getting any respect in his own home.

"Oh come on you know it's true Scruffy." Bloom kisses his cheek.
"You're lucky I love you Pixie." Fives huffs as he captures her in a hug.
Before she can say anything he takes her lips. Moon seemed to feel left out until Brave sits next to her then licks her. His tail wags as she nuzzles under his chin.
After that they sit down to eat. They chit chat about a few things. Mostly their day. Fives tries to trick them into saying what the dress looks like. But it doesn't work.
"It's about time we head out." Fives looks at the clock.
"Do you really have to stay with Rex?" Bloom's wings droop.
"It's your people's tradition right? The bride and groom can't live with each other a week before the day. It's supposed to keep from back luck right?" Fives brings the dishes to the sink.
"I know. I know. But still…" Bloom pouts.
Fives kisses her. "It's one week. One and then we have the rest of our lives." He places his forehead against hers.
"Okay." Bloom smiles softly at him.
With that they all head out.
It doesn't take long for Fives to arrive at the Luquane house hold. Opening the door he's almost hit with water. Looking down he sees two amber eyed boys.
"He did it." The blond and dark blue haired boy point to the other hiding the pistols behind their backs.
"Fin! Lin! Didn't I say to put those away?" Rex stands behind them pointing down a hall.
"Sorry dad." Their wings droop as they walk off.

Song and Echo packed up some last minute things before their trip the next day. "Do you think we have everything?" Echo asked as he checked over the list once more." "I think so but your more organized then me so you should now." He rolled his eyes with a smile when they heard a whine.
They saw Brave was looking at them big eyed and sad. Now Brave was still pretty thin but he was tall, no longer a runt. In fact Creg said he wasn't part of the litter his friend had just an abandoned pup.
Either way the little guys tenacity and gray eyes had drawn them in and it seemed to of done the same to Moon. The two where almost inseparable and now they had to go on a week trip with him.
Echo sighed saying "Come on bud it's a week." "Don't try that excuse you still freak out if I'm gone for more than a few hours." Echo blushed saying "Touché."
Brave seemed to laugh at that as Song came up and said "I know boy it's horrible to be away from her but we need your help with your cousins." He seemed to straighten up like a trooper at that and they both laughed.
As Song stood up she felt strong arms wrap around her as Echo dug his face into her honey scented hair and said "I know I can be over protective but..." "You have a reason. I sometimes get a bit hesitant when I have nothing to do and you're not around. Why do you think I visit you at work sometimes?"
Echo chuckled at that and said "True." He brought her around and said "I love you." "I love you too." She suddenly opened the small music box that played their song and danced one last dance before heading to bed, Brave heading out to sleep in his favorite spot in the living room.

Fives gets ready for bed. Stopping brushing his teeth as he hears Elyon singing the boys to sleep. It was a nice song; it reminded him of the tune Bloom hums from time to time.
Finishing getting ready he lays in the guest room staring up at the ceiling. Picturing Bloom's smile he sits up looking over at the communicator.
"Come on it hasn't even been a day." Fives shakes his head placing it down.
"Hey, I put on some tea. Want a cup?" Rex looks in on him.
"Yeah, I could use it." Fives chuckles getting up.
Back at the apartment.
Bloom sits trying to read a book with Moon on her lap. Like Brave, Moon is bigger now. She's not as lean as him but her fur is silky and her pale yellow eyes seemed to have cast a spell on the male. Like the four of them they've never really been a part.
Moon look up at Bloom with a whimper looking at the door. Bloom pets behind her ears, knowing how she's feeling.
"Come on we should try getting some rest." Bloom closes the book calling her as she heads for the room.
Moon follows behind. But then stops growling at the window.
Bloom turns to see what's wrong but before she can both are out cold. The cloaked figure grins as she stands over Bloom lying on the floor.

Song, Echo and Brave were exhausted. The trip had been mostly calm but still it was nice to be home. They found Themselves being greeted by Rex, Elyon, and the boys at the docking bay.
Song said "Hey guys." Echo and Rex shook hands as the boys hugged Brave who simply shook to get them off, both of the boys laughing. As Song hugged Elyon she said "Where's Fives, I thought he be her to help?"
Elyon shrugged saying "For some reason Bloom called him over for something. Since I know the tradition says not to see each other before the wedding but she sounded really upset."
Song raised a brow saying "Well Bloom's not superstitious and with what we've all been through in the past it's understandable a week without each other might affect them."
Elyon nodded but she wasn't entirely sure. Song wanted to ask more when they heard Rex call "Hey stop that you two that dog is not horse."
The two looked back to see their men trying to get the twins off of poor Brave's back. "Guys no he doesn't have the strength for something like that." The two women rushed over to help as well.
Brave looked upset but he held himself, both owners very glad they had taken him to obedience school and that the guard trained in discipline as well.
It didn't take them long to unpack and then head out to the Lawquane home where they see Fives and Bloom talking.

"Welcome back." Bloom smiles at them, but her wings don't flutter.
"Aunty!" The boys hug her.
"Hi boys." Bloom hugs them back.
"Are you staying for lunch?" They look up excited.
"Sorry." Bloom shakes her head. "I just had to talk with Fives. Now I should get going. Hopefully I didn't jinx anything." She starts walking off as she does Moon growls.
"Come on be good." Fives pats her head.
"What did she need?" Elyon looks at Fives curiously.
"Just wanted to see me and asked if Moon could stay with us so she's with Brave." Fives scratches behind the now calm Moon's ears.
"Well as long as everything's okay." Rex sighs with relief.
Seeing Brave Moon rushes over to him. The two nuzzle each other with their tails wagging. Fives cracks a joke about them being like Song and Echo then goes to his room to lay down for a bit.
He sounded alright. But something was wrong. His crystal seemed dim and Bloom. What was going on with her?

Song didn't know what was up, something was off, she never seen Moon growl at Bloom before. That was strange.
And Fives seemed tired, well that might be from staying with double trouble for a week but still. He didn't even really acknowledge Echo there. Usually the two didn't like being separated either.
Song was also shocked that Bloom didn't give her a hug, Bloom always hugged. Echo said, "I'll go talk to Fives." "And I'll talk to Bloom. They seem off."
Elyon then said "It's probably just prewedding jitters." Song said "Maybe but we just want to check on them." The two headed off to do as they said they would.
As Echo entered the room he said "Hey Fives are you okay. You seem off. You barely noticed I was there." He then joked "What didn't miss me?"
With Song she was walking after Bloom and called "Hey Bloom." Said woman seemed to stiffen but turned around with a smile as she aid "Yes Song?"
"I was wondering if something was wrong. You seem sort of off." "What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine."
Song frowned saying "You sure, you didn't fight with Fives did you?" Bloom shook her head saying "Oh no not at all. Though I do need your help with something." "Sure what is it?" "I want to just make some last minute changed."
Song looked shocked saying "It's a bit short notice for that but it is your wedding. How's three sound at the Sky Dancers studio." "Perfect." Bloom then turned and walked off a few men staring at her as she winked at them.
'Okay something is definably wrong!' Song thought when her jaw dropped at that, heading to find Echo.

"I'm fine." Fives laughs. "Just tired." He feels his dizzy head.
'Why am I so tired? What did we talk about?' Fives tries to recall.
"Sorry can we talk later? My head's killing me." Fives looks over at him with hazed eyes.
Meanwhile with the girls.
"That dog is going to be an issue." The fake growls reveals her true deep red eyes in a mirror.
'Well at least the groom was easy to get.' She huffs.
-Flashback:
'Bloom? Bloom what's-' Fives comes into the apartment to see her tied up.
Rushing over he removes the gag.
'Fives Run!' Bloom yells with her hands and wings bound.
'Not so fast!' The woman hits him with a spell causing him to black out.
'Stop this Heart! He doesn't and won't love you!' Bloom yells at the woman doing this.
'Quiet already.' Heart moves the gag back. 'Now for you.' She smirks walking over to him.-
"Now all I have to do is keep the maid of honor busy." Heart smirks changing her face back to Blooms.

Song bumped into Echo who looked down worried and asked "Song what's wrong?"
She explained what had happen and Echo looked surprised as well "Changing wedding plans. Flirting with other men. That's not like Bloom." Song rubbed her arms and said "What about Fives did you get anything from him?"
Echo shook his head saying "No he's just so tired he can't even talk I think something's up." Song nodded saying "Will you come with me to the fitting. I feel safer with you around. Maybe stay out of sight." Echo looked surprised "Don't you think that's a bit much."
"Echo please just, just pleas I feel afraid." Echo was shocked, Song didn't usually say that but seeing her friend acting strange would probably do that to her and he had to admit he was worried.
He nodded and said "Okay I'll come with you?" And so they headed off to get some rest before going to the fitting.
Three came around faster than they would have liked. They left Brave with Rex. He said it was fine knowing the dogs missed each other and then they headed off. The other reason they didn't bring Brave along was if he started to growl at the so-called Bloom then their cover was blown.
As Song walked in Echo hid in the props with his blaster on stun. As Song came in she said "Hey Bloom I'm here." Bloom looked over with a smile and said "Oh good. I was looking over the designs and I have few suggestions."
Song came up with a fake smile and said "Okay what would you like to change?" Bloom smirked as she said "Well the train needs to be longer of course, I want to change the mermaid look to a more princess look, and I want to change the veil from ice to gold flecks."
Song raised a brow at that and said "So you want everything changed accept the flowers." Bloom frowned as she said "Oh no I want the flowers especially changed. I want them all to be red roses." At that Song's mind went back to the trials and said "You're not Bloom you're the queen of hearts."
Heart chuckled a she changed saying "Took you long enough." She brought out some swords to attack but Song brought out her ice sword and shield to defend herself.
Echo saw what was happening and was about to shoot at Heart but suddenly he felt himself knocked to the floor after being hit in the head, he looked up and said "Fives?" Only to see that his brothers had pulsing red eyes now as he punched him once more to knock him out.
Fives then grabbed Echo's blaster to stun Song "Ah!" She screamed as she fell down and Heart laughed as she saw this and then saw Fives dragging Echo over to Song as she said "Good work my red knight. We'll deal with these two in our own chest match another time. For now let's give the bride some company." She then used her own force like abilities to teleport them.

"Song. Song are you okay? Song?" Bloom shakes her.
Song wakes up in a strange crystal cave. Seeing Bloom she jumps back. But flinches from a sprained ankle.
"You're hurt." Bloom reaches for her but Song slaps her hand away.
"Please Song, let me treat you. I… I couldn't stand it knowing this happened because of me." Blooms eyes shake with worry as her wings droop.

When Song saw Bloom's wings droop she gasped and hugged her saying "It's you. Ouch." Echo woke up and rushed over to pick her up and away from Bloom but Song said "Echo it's okay it's really her."
Echo looked at Bloom and when he saw her eyes he knew it was her "Bloom it's really you." He put Song down gently and then explained everything that had happened.
