Harm sat in his office, gazing across the bullpen and straight into the window of Sarah Mackenzie's office. Harm sighed as he watched her work, her lips pursed in thought and concentration. Oh what he wouldn't give to kiss those lips. She looks up from the file in front of her and gives him a slight smile. He smiles back, looking into those shining eyes and wondering what it would be like to see those eyes before he fell asleep each night and as he woke up in the morning. Not that he didn't already, she was all he ever saw, whether she was there or not. She was his everything.
Harm found himself humming along to a country song in his apartment that evening. He picked up the guitar and began to play the song. He softly began to sing the words that filled his heart.

Mac parked outside his apartment, looking up at his illuminated window. "I can't fight this anymore. I love him, and I'm gonna tell him." She got out of her car and walked up to his apartment door. She could hear the guitar and she could hear his voice. She stood outside his door poised to knock. She began to listen to the words he sang and leaned up against the door.

When she heard his confession, the tears began to pour down her face. "Oh Harm, I love you too." She quietly opened his apartment door and saw him, sitting alone, lost in the music. She stood watching him sing with such emotion.

"Harm." she whispered. He looked up to meet the deep brown eyes that he saw in his dreams. "Did you mean it? Do you love me?"
Harm set down his guitar and stood, one solitary word uttered from his lips. "Yes." He pulled her into his arms and began to sing to her, holding her close.

He leaned forward and kissed the lips he longed to kiss.
