(It was a peaceful, glorious, and SUPER hot day actually at Santa Monica beach (It was approximately 105 degrees Fahrenheit). 2 muscular and slender hot guys were walking down the beach looking forward to get in the water and beat the heat. Those 2 guys were none other than a chocolate skinned beauty named Paul (wearing a red speedo) and his boyfriend, a pink haired asian guy from the race named Devin (wearing his usual lime green swim trunks). Paul and Devin are currently dating (as you all know). They were originally close friends but ever since their kiss under the fireworks, they officially became a thing and they couldn't be more proud of it.)
Paul: Man, I can't wait to beat the heat, Dev!
Devin: Tell me about it. It's so hot, I can literally feel myself being cooked on barbeque rack!
Paul: Ha ha! Yeah, *smirks* you're already tasty enough already to me.
Devin: Oh paul!
Paul: *laughs* But seriously, yeah. This is the hottest day of the summer so far.
Devin: And summer's already not over yet!
Paul: Yeah! Now let's find us a good spot.
Devin: Alright. Oh, there's one right there! And it's close to the water!
Paul: Good eye, Dev! Looks like that's our spot.
Devin: Alright, let's set up our things.
(Paul and Devin then find a spot for them to set up their stuff. They each had a beach towel, sunscreen, tanning oil, an umbrella, and a beach ball. After they settle themselves, they then wait for Ennui and Brody to arrive.)
Devin: Hey, wait a minute Paul, you think Ennui and Brody might already have one?
Paul: I don't think so. We're pretty early now. It's 8:45am right now and they said they'd arrive around 9.
Devin: Oh yeah, they did say that!
Paul: I've always liked arriving early to places anyway. According to my dad, "being early to bed and early to rise always makes you healthy, wealthy, and wise."
Devin: Now those are some words to live by.
Paul: Yep. Oh I almost forgot, it's HIGH time to apply some sunscreen!
Devin: Oh yeah, let's do it!
(Paul and Devin then started to apply banana lotion SPF 50 sunscreen on themselves. Once they got their arms, legs, chest, and face, they then decided helped each other with applying sunscreen on their backs.)
Devin: Want me to get your back, Paul?
Paul: Go ahead, Dev.
(Devin then sensually rubs sunscreen on Paul's back. He was loving every second of it.)
Paul: Oh that feels good! You ever thought of becoming a masseuse one day? Cause you got the hands of a god.
Devin: Why thanks, he he. *blushes* *finishes up* Alright! I believe it's my turn to be rubbed now. *winks and smiles at him*
Paul: It is indeed. Lie down, my Devy.
(Devin lies down on his belly and now Paul applies sunscreen on Devin's back. Paul stroked and massages his back with such grace and feeling. Devin loved it as much as he did.)
Devin: Oh, fuck yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about!
Paul: He he, I learned from the best.
?: Whoa ho, dudes! Already getting it on, huh?
(Then out of nowhere, a voice startled the 2. It was from none other than a muscular tan skinned male with a star tattoo who's also from the Ridonculous Race named Brody. He was wearing nothing but his sandals and a purple speedo. Brody is best friends with Devin and Paul. They even all party a lot together ever since said race.)
Paul: Brody! Y-you're here!
Devin: Hey, Brody!
Brody: Sup, dudes! *fist bumps Devin and Paul and bro hugs them*
Devin: Glad you're here, dude!
Paul: And exactly at 9, lol!
Brody: Yep. He he, sorry if I disturbed your little "session" there. *scratches the back of his head*
Paul: Ah, you don't need to apologize. *laughs*
Devin: We were just applying sunscreen, that's all. Although, we did get a little saucy with it, he he.
Paul: And it wouldn't be the first time you walked in on us doing something akin to a make out session. *winks*
Brody: *joked* And it won't be the last!
(the 3 bros all shared a laugh before Brody began to set his stuff up at their spot)
Brody: Man, they weren't kidding! There really is a serious fucking heatwave today!
Paul: Devin and I were just talking about it on our way here!
Brody: Good thing I already applied sunscreen. The last thing I want is to get sunburnt EVERYWHERE from head to toe. And I mean EVERYWHERE even on my….you know.
Paul: I don't think THAT region could possibly get sunburnt.
Devin: Hey anyway, where is Ennui?
Brody: He should be here anytime soon. He said he was coming on his own.
Devin: Ah okay. Man, I know I've already said this, but can you believe how much he's changed by the way?
Brody: I STILL can't, dude! It's amazing how he underwent such a transformation. The first time I met him, he was so gloomy and aloof. Now, he's more calm, laid back, and comfortable with himself, yet still the same goth he was!
Devin: Yeah. He was always friendly though.
Brody: Oh yeah don't get me wrong. But now it's like he's one of the guys.
Devin: Yeah, same with Crimson becoming more like one of the girls. She's recently hanging out with Carrie, Kitty, and Emma a lot nowadays.
Paul: Guys, I think I spy a hunky gothic male coming our way!
(that male was none other than Ennui. He is of German and British descent. He sported black fire tattoos and black hair and was wearing nothing but a black speedo and red tennis shoes. He also wore sunglasses and a skull necklace and even a sexy smile. It was truly an attractive sight that the guys couldn't stop staring at for a brief moment.)
Paul: Aaaand, it's Ennui!
Brody: Yo Ennui!
Devin: Sup, dude!
Ennui: Yo, dudes! How's it going? (fist bumps and hugs his bros)
Paul: It's going much better now that you're here.
Devin: Yeah, man!
Ennui: He He, awesome. *blushes*
Brody: So….now that we're all here, why don't we chill and tan for a few and then we all play in the water?
(the 4 bros agreed)
Paul: Alright.
Ennui: Sounds like a plan.
Paul: Alright, let's put some tanning oil on!
(the 4 bros then applied tanning oil to themselves. As usual, Paul and Devin applied oil on each other's backs. Brody did it to his own. Paul however suggested that he rubs Ennui's back.)
Paul: Yo, Dev. You would mind if I rub oil on...En..
Devin: Sure, go ahead. *smiles*
Paul: Alright. Yo Ennui! You won't mind if I get your back?
Ennui: Oh, uh, sure! Go right ahead.
(Paul then applies oil on Ennui's back. He rubbing his back like how he was rubbing Devin's. Gracefully and swiftly.)
Ennui: Oh man! Oh, sheer ecstasy!
Brody: Sounds like he loves it.
Devin: Ha ha, yep.
(After everyone finished, they relaxed and sunbathes for a while in hopes of getting a good tan. Some girls walking by couldn't help but stare at this incredibly hot and attractive sight.)
(Paul then immediately suggested that they all play in the water now)
Paul: Okay, I think my coat of tan is officially ready to be put into action!
Brody: Same!
Devin: Agreed.
Ennui: Einverstanden ("agreed" in German).
Paul: So...what should we do in the water exactly?
Brody: Dudes, how about we all surf for a while! I already got my board right here!
Devin: Yeah, I'm up for that!
Paul: Sure!
Ennui: Meh, why not?
Brody: All right! This is gonna be awesome! So, what kind of boards you want?
Devin: I just want a boogie board.
Paul: Surfboard like yours.
Ennui: Same with Paul.
Devin: I'll go with you to get our boards, Brody!
Brody: Awesome. Later, dudes! We'll be back soon.
(while Brody and Devin were getting the surfboards for the 4 bros, Paul and Ennui stayed at their spot waiting.)
Paul: Hey Ennui, you know I'm still surprised that you like, fully accepted your un-gothed look and started to use it in public more often!
Ennui: He he, yeah. I kind of surprise myself sometimes. (he scratches the back of his head) Honestly, I think ever since Crimson and I took our relationship to new heights and since I started hanging out with you guys, we somehow reinforced our perspective on how the world sees us. Now we've learned embrace ourselves beyond our gothic looks and feel more comfortable with our natural selves. And as a bonus, I've learned to be more laid back and comfortable around other people. Hence, why I'm here with all of you.
Paul: That's awesome, man! That's serious development right there.
Ennui: Ha ha, yep. But don't get me wrong, we're still gonna stick with our gothic nature occasionally.
Paul: Right.
*Brody and Devin return with the surfboards*
Brody: We're back, boois!
Devin: We got our rented surfboards.
Paul: And since we already applied sunblock, I think we're ready to hit the water!
Brody: Let's do this!
Devin: Alright!
Ennui: Fuck yeah!
(In just the blink of an eye, they all arrived at the water. They then got their boards ready and prepared for the waves to come.)
Brody: Thank god the waves are still alive, huh?
Paul: Yep. Can't wait to ride em.
Ennui: Hey, Devin, I've seen you surf decently before. How come you downgraded to a boogie board today?
Devin: Well you see, Ennui, I had a not so pleasant experience last time I surfed.
Paul: He had quite a horrific wipeout, so to speak.
Devin: I still remember it like it was a month and a week ago. Mostly because it was EXACTLY a month and week ago.
(Flashback)
(Voiceover Devin: It was just me and Paul. After Paul showed off his surfing skills, which he got from Geoff and Brody of course, I decided I take the stage and show off mine.)
Devin: Watch me shoot the curl, Paul!
*Devin surfs quite gracefully*
Paul: Looking good, Dev!
Devin: Now this is gnarly. Oh here comes a big one!
(Voiceover Devin: I was feeling like I was on top of the world. It felt like true catharsis. And then, once this huge wave approached me, I got more cocky then I should've. I attempted to ride it and then….it happened.)
Devin: COWABUNGA, MOTHERFUCK…..AAGH! *wipes out*
Paul: DEVIN! (Jumps in water to save Devin)
(Flashback ends)
Devin: It was such a traumatic event that still haunts me to this day.
Ennui: Ouch, that had to hurt.
Devin: Yeah it did quite a number on me. I'm so glad Paul was there to save me though.
Paul: You know I'm always there for you, Dev. (kisses him) (Devin blushes)
Devin: Same here, Paul.
(the 3 bros then spot Brody riding on the waves)
Brody: Yo, check me out dudes!
Paul: Way to go, Brody!
Ennui: Gnarly!
Devin: Classic Brody.
(After Brody showed off his surfing skills, the rest joined along)
(They all seemed to show decent surfing skills. Of course, they all learned from the best, Brody and Geoff. After 10 minutes of surfing, one of them decided go solo with big incoming waves.)
Brody: Whoa, dudes, here come some more big ones!
Ennui: Step aside. Let me at em.
Paul: Whoa dude, are you sure?
Ennui: Yep.
Devin: Alright. Go Ennui!
(Ennui then surfed a wave that Brody and Geoff would usually surf. Surprisingly, he conquered the wave without falling off.
He gives his bros a thumbs up.)
Paul: Damn, Ennui!
Brody: You go, dude!
Devin: I didn't even know he could DO that honestly!
(Ennui heads back to the crew)
Ennui: Gnarly, huh?
Brody: You were awesome!
Ennui: This guy learned from the best! *fist bumps Brody*
Paul: *to himself* *chuckles* Man, show off much.
(Ennui heard Paul's sarcastic remark)
Ennui: *in a sassy tone* Well let's see you take on those monsters, Paul.
Paul: You're on!
Devin: Alright, Paul!
Brody: That's my best bruh!
(As more monster waves come, Paul approaches then and the other 3 head closer to shore)
Paul: Watch this!
(Paul successfully surfs one of them)
Brody: Lookin' good bruh!
Ennui: Nice one!
Devin: That's my Paul!
Paul: Uh oh, here comes another one! Looks like it has my name on it!
(With Paul getting super cocky, he attempted the wave…)
Paul: COWABUNGA, MOTHERFUCK...AGGGH!
(...only to wipe out afterwards, HARD. So he did.)
All 3 bros: PAUL!
(Devin went to save Paul.)
Brody: Man, that HAD to hurt.
Ennui: Talk about me and my big mouth….
(Paul did eventually swim back up to the surface but Devin pulled him to shore. When they all went back to their spot, Paul was lying down. He coughed up residual water and took out wet sand from his mouth. Devin even did a little CPR on him.)
Devin: Oh man! Are you alright Paul?
Brody: That was SOME wicked wipeout, dude.
Paul: Yeah, I'm alright. Thanks so much, Devin.
Devin: Oh anything for you, man.
Ennui: Oh man, now I kinda feel guilty for challenging you like that. Forgive my all-of-a-sudden big ego. *laughs*
Paul: Ah, I'm not mad at you at all, Ennui. To be honest, that wipeout was really thrilling. Yet very intense.
Brody: Yeah I'll say.
Paul: How about we take 5 and rest for a while then head out to the pier?
Devin: Yeah, let's do that.
Brody: Agreed.
(After they rested for 40 minutes, they headed out to the pier.)
Devin: Ah the revamped pier. I've missed it so much. (thinks about the time Paul dared him to ride all the intense rides with Geoff and Brody and when he and Paul had their first kiss that night)
Paul: We made lots of memories here, huh Dev?
Devin: Oh a lot. When you helped me conquer my fear of heights riding those rides, and, especially….
Paul and Devin: Our first kiss under the fireworks. *sighs romantically*
Brody: So, what do you wanna do first around here first?
Ennui: Let's get on the roller coaster first.
Paul: Good idea, En! It's always the smart thing to do the most thrilling thing first.
Devin: Ah the Stomach Destroyer. Let's ride!
(Soon, they all went in line for the coaster which was surprisingly short. Excitement filled up the hearts of all 4 bros, even Ennui.)
Devin: Hey Ennui, I never asked you this, but when was the last time you rode a roller coaster?
Ennui: A LONG time actually, before I became a goth. I think it was when I was, like, 13 years old. It was at a fair in Toronto that my mom took me too, before she died. What I remember mostly about it was that it very tall and had a steep drop. And about 3 inversions. We went on it, and we loved every minute of it. The adrenaline rushed through our bloodstreams and the thrill of it all made us feel more alive than ever. It was exhilarating. One of the greatest moments of my life.
Devin: Wow. And you weren't scared at all?
Ennui: Maybe a little, but was never really afraid of heights OR falling from them.
Paul: Man, it's like we get to truly learn more about you every time we hang out together!
Ennui: Ha ha, yep.
Brody: Dudes, I think we're next!
Devin: Alright!
Ennui: Lass uns reiten! (German for "Let's ride")
Paul: Bring it on, Stomach Destroyer!
(They all went on the roller coaster. Ennui and Brody chose to sit in the back because they'd feel the most force. Paul sat with Devin in the front like the last time they rode it. As the coaster went up to the 800 feet peak, Devin started to get serious deja vu.)
Devin: Whoa! You know, this may not be too bad like I thought it was. In fact, it might be even…(the coaster starts to drop)..WORSE!
(The coaster then started to traverse the track at such high speeds. Brody and Ennui were loving every second of the ride.)
Brody: THAT'S WHAT BRODY'S TALKING ABOUT!
Ennui: SWEET MAMA, THIS IS AWESOME!
(Even Devin was loving it.)
Devin: Oh man, IVE NEVER FELT MORE ALIVE! WHOOHOO!
(The ride finally stopped and all 4 bros exited and high fived and some even chest bumped.)
Devin: That...was...AWESOME!
Ennui: I've never felt so ecstatic in my life!
Paul: That 55 minute wait was WORTH IT!
Brody: Ha ha, yep. So, what now?
Paul: How about we split up? Groups of 2?
Devin: Yeah, I'm okay with that.
Ennui: And we should meet at 1:30 near the entrance to eat.
Brody: Oh yeah, I'm starting to get hungry!
Devin: So I was thinking me and Brody and Paul and Ennui. Paul, you wouldn't mind if I went with Brody this time, right?
Paul: Of course not! Go ahead.
Devin: Thanks. It's just been a long time since me and Brody hung out together by ourselves.
Brody: Yo Dev, there's that test your strength thingy that Geoff and I went to last time!
Devin: Oh yeah, let's go!
(As Devin and Brody went off, it was just Paul and Ennui.)
Ennui: Well I guess it's just us, huh Paul?
Paul: Yep. Oh, let's go on the gyro loop ride!
Ennui: Sounds like a plan!
(They arrive to the ride and put on the shoulder restraints)
Paul: Hey, I bet you can't turn me inside head over heels with this one.
Ennui: Oh no? Let me at the controls then.
Paul: Bring it on!
(Yeah, they're HUGE thrill seekers. Anyway, the operators turned the ride on and the controls, planted on the ride vehicle, were up to Paul and Ennui. Ennui started by giving the ride a fast foreword 360 degree rotation and then a half rotation bringing them up to 30 feet.)
Paul: That's all man?
Ennui: Wait for it. *evil laugh*
(Then Ennui gets mischievous and then pushes the gyro lock button and gives the vehicle a full foreword rotation so they'd be upside down when they hit the bottom.)
Paul: WHOA, MAN!
Ennui: Hey, you asked for it!
(Ennui then kept messing around with the controls and gave himself and Paul a REALLY thrillingly spastic ride. It was nearly like Candace from Phineas and Ferb spiraling out of control in their giant bowling ball. After a minute of rotational insanity, the ride stopped. Ennui and Paul may have felt a little dizzy coming off, but they loved the ride.)
Paul: Oh man Ennui. You really are full of surprises.
Ennui: He he, thanks. *blushes* Hey, how about some skee ball?
Paul: Awesome! I've always loved skee-ball.
Ennui: Same here.
(While Paul and Ennui enjoy themselves, Brody and Devin are seen walking away from the TYS machine.)
Brody: Damn, dude! You sure best me! You keep getting stronger and stronger each time!
Devin: He he, you really think so?
Brody: Totally. If we were in a wrestling match, you'd pummel me to the ground in a matter of 5 seconds!
Devin: Really? I don't think I'd ever to that to you even I were able to.
Brody: Maybe but still. *laughs* Hey, let's go on the bumper cars!
Devin: Oh yeah, let's!
(soon they arrived at the bumper cars. As they got on, Devin took the wheel. He unleashed his mad driving skills on everyone else. Devin was driving like a mad man compared to everyone else. He and Brody were laughing in enjoyment and in tears. After 2 minutes of craziness, they got off the ride.)
Brody: Man, I've never seen you drive like that on bumper cars before!
Devin: Yeah, I pretty much went all out back there. He he.
(Time flicks to 1:30pm in the blink of an eye. The 4 bros meet at the spot near the entrance to get some food. They all choose to eat pizza. They all got individual 4 slice small pizzas. Paul got pepperoni, Devin got cheese, Brody got mushrooms, and Ennui got spinach. Everyone got soda except for Ennui. They found a table then headed for it. They all sat down and ate.)
Paul: By the way, Ennui, You're dieting or something?
Ennui: Yep. I'm eating more veggies with my meals more often.
Devin: Man, so far, today has been so thrilling!
Ennui: I haven't had this much fun with you guys in ages!
Brody: Man, I'm so lucky to have all you awesome guys as my friends!
Paul: Thanks, dude! We're all lucky to have an amazingly fun dude like you!
Devin: And I couldn't be more lucky to have an awesome boyfriend like you, Paul. (Paul and Devin share a kiss on the lips)
Ennui: Dudes, I feel like we should toast for this occasion.
Brody: Agreed!
(The 4 bros all clank their drinks. After eating and finishing up, they all headed down back to their spot. They they went back in the water and had a splash fight. After their playful fight, Paul decided on something else fun.)
Paul: Yo, you know what I'm thinking right now?
Brody: What might that be?
Paul: I don't know about you, but I don't think our day at the beach will be complete with a little….
Devin, Ennui, and Brody: VOLLEYBALL MATCH!
(The 4 bros walked to a volleyball net and Brody supplied the ball)
Brody: So, how's about me and Ennui vs Paul and Devin.
Paul: Alright!
(They then split up into the 2 teams. It was first to 5 wins, best of three games.)
Paul: Are we ready, boys?
Ennui, Devin, and Brody: HELL YEAH!
Paul: Alright. First serve!
(Paul then serves the ball. There was a rally going on only for 2 seconds. The first team to score a point was Paul and Devin, courtesy of Devin.)
Devin: Oh yeah! Paul and Dev, one; Brody and En, zip!
(Paul serves the ball again)
(Ennui stares at Paul's elegance. It made his heart race and also made him doze off.)
Brody: BRUH! Focus!
Ennui: Oh, right right!
(The game went on for about 12 minutes. There were some outs and scores. Final match, score was tied 4-4. Brody served the ball. The final match got intense but finally ended as Paul spiked the ball almost hitting Ennui in the face, making Paul and Devin win the first game.)
Paul: YEE-EAH!
Devin: WHOO HOO!
(Paul and Devin bro hug and fist bump)
Brody: You May have won the first game, but we still got another game to go!
(Paul then decided to trigger Ennui.)
Paul: Hey Ennui, what happened back there? You didn't seem to have your game face on. Unless you think you're, I don't know, too weak over me.
Ennui: Too we…(gets triggered) I AM NOT!
Paul: Then prove it…..chicken.
Ennui: OH THAT'S IT! IT'S ON!
(Game 2 begins)
Ennui: Let ME serve the ball, Brody.
(So Ennui served the ball, another 2 second rally went on, and Brody and Ennui scores the first point.)
Ennui: So….still think I'm too weak for you, Paul? (Smiles and smirks at him)
Paul: I see you're finally stepping up your game. (Smiles and smirks back)
(The second game was much more intense than the first. The ball was flying everywhere, lots of taunts were made, and the overall game took 8 minutes longer. Until Ennui surprised everyone at the end of the match where him and Brody had 4 and Paul and Devin had 3.)
Ennui: Ready for this?
(The ball started to fly back over Ennui, but he did a quick backflip spring to catch up to it. He then passed it to Brody who left it for Ennui to spike. Ennui the spiked the ball and won the second game for his team.)
Brody: OH YEAH!
Ennui: And that's how I roll!
(Brody and Ennui bro hug and fist bump each other.)
Paul: (Paul became super mesmerized). Holy shit….
Devin: Damn, Ennui!
Brody: That was impressive!
Ennui: Thanks. I honestly even surprised myself with that move!
Paul: Best 2 out of 3?
Brody: Let's do this!
(Paul served the ball. Not surprisingly, the game got more intense. As the sun was starting to set, it was down to the final match. Tied score. Everyone had sweat and determination, ready to finish it off. Brody did the final serve.)
Brody: Okay, guys. This is it!
Ennui: For all the marbles!
Devin: Let's finish this!
(After the final serve, they struggled to win until the ball was passed to Devin by Paul. Devin then spiked the ball on the other field, giving Devin and Paul the final win.)
(Paul and Devin cheer)
Paul: We did it, Devin!
Devin: We won!
(Paul and Devin fist bump, chest bump, and kiss)
Brody: Congratulations, guys!
Ennui: You deserved it.
Devin: You know, you guys weren't too bad yourselves.
Paul: Yeah, especially you, Ennui. You've sure got skills. (pats Ennui on back)
Ennui: Thanks, man.
(After the volleyball game was over, the 4 bros then returned the surfboards and packed up their stuff getting ready to go home.)
Brody: Man, has this been the best beach day ever or what!
Ennui: Oh totally! Again, this is the most fun I've ever had in AGES!
Paul: It's always a blast when we're hanging out together.
Devin: You know it!
Ennui: Well I gotta go. Crimson's waiting on me back at Eagle Rock.
Paul: We gotta go too.
Devin: Today was super awesome though!
Brody: Hell Yeah it was! See ya dudes!
Paul, Ennui, and Devin: Bye!
(Soon everyone went off to their separate home and called it a day. The end.)
