This is my very first story.
Pulling my hair into a ponytail, I gave my outfit a final check. Looks professional enough. My pencil skirt and tucked in blouse made me look real professional, or so I thought. Finishing the look with some high heels that Rose had forced me to buy, saying some shit about that it making me look even more professional.
Rose has been my best friend since high school. On the outside she puts on a tough, cold look but she is fiercely loyal to people she cares about. I rushed out of my apartment and onto the busy streets of Manhattan. The run to the bus stop was nearly impossible with this heels. I grabbed a ticket for the bus just on time.
I looked my window and hoped I got this job. Getting of at the stop, I entered the tall building with the name Cullen on the outside. I fixed my hair and walked to the room I had been instructed to go to. Taking one last breath, I knocked on the door. "Come in", said a velvety voice.
I Stepped in to the room and scanned the room. It looked like a personal office. I walked over and took a seat. Finally when I looked at his face, I was shocked. There, right in front of me, sat an angel. He had the greenest eyes I have ever seen before and messy hair the color of a penny. I itched to run my hands through them. He cleared his throat and I blushed. He caught me ogling him and he had a damn smirk on his face.
"You have an impressive resume here Miss Swan". " Looks like you graduated at the top of your class". I nodded in confirm, not really having been paying attention. I was too caught up on his handsomeness. " Why don't you tell me why you would like this job",he asked."Sir, I graduated with a major in business and this would be my first job. I think I would be a great addition and will have everything done on time", I replied confidently." I like your confidence Miss Swan. You meet my standards for an employ",he says.
"Miss Swan, you must understand, I am not a very patient man. When I tell you to do something, I expect you to give it your 100 percent and to be done on time. I don't appreciate tardiness. Do I make myself clear"?,he asks. "Yes sir, I promise to not let you down", I replied, excited I got the job. "Good, be here at 8 am sharp tomorrow and I will explain what to do then". "Thank you sir. I will see you and have a nice day", I excitedly said. "Goodbye Isabella",he replied. I turned to leave when I heard him say,"Oh and Isabella, you don't need to dress so formal.I nodded quickly heading down to the lobby, a certain greek god filling my mind.
I really don't know how this story will turn out. Please tell me about anything I can improve on.
