Selfless Sacrifice
Hair as dark as midnight
Eyes of cobalt blue
A body that rivals those of the gods
His family was on his mind
As he made that final decision
But where would his journey end?
In a sunlit forest grove
Or in a twilight realm where flame controls all?
It didn't matter to him
One thing mattered more than everything else
Protecting those that he loved
The first embrace his son ever received from him was the last
He'd never return home again
All disappeared in a flash of light and he was gone
