A/N- Hiya! I'm back! Let me know what you think of this story. I just read Fallen In Love by Lauren Kate and the end of the book had the prologue and first chapter for Rapture! I was so excited! From the looks of it, too, I think I'm the most up-to-date according to all the Fallen stories. Yayyyyyyy!

Disclaimer: I do not own anything that Lauren Kate came up with. Though I think it's awesome! Team Daniel!

Molly Zane:

Molly Zane was annoyed. Extremely annoyed at the moment. So the outcasts had just come to fight for Luce and then they all left. Luce just had to dive into an announcer, and, of course, the others had to follow her.

Here she was left with Gabbe and Luce's mortal friend-Callie, Molly thought she was called- o clean up the mess. And they had to give an explanation to Luce's parents as to why Luce was missing.

Thankfully, Gabbe took care of the mess. She just waved her hand over the yard and the dust all disappeared. Molly turned towards Callie on the porch. Her mouth was agape, staring at the pair.

Well, Molly thought, if I was mortal and I just witnessed a battle with some beings unknown to me, I would stare, too.

She felt sympathy for the poor girl, but she didn't show it because she was Molly Zane and Molly Zane wasn't known for sympathy.

"Come on," Molly said as Gabbe took flight and left the scene. "Where's Luce's room?"

Callie answered in a shaky voice, "I think it's the last door on the right side up the stairs. What just happened?"

"I'll let Luce tell you that," Molly said.

"Is she okay-wherever she went? It looked like she disappeared!"

Molly paused halfway up the stairs to think this over. She, truthfully, wasn't sure herself whether Luce would be okay, or whether anyone would be okay, really, because if one of them made a wrong move they could rewrite history. But to reassure the poor girl she said, "Yeah, she'll be perfectly fine."

They went to a white door on the right side and opened it. It was probably Luce's room, seeing all of the things she left in there. Swimming metals and photos of her friends and family. Her bed neatly made and the blinds on the windows partially open. Molly walked right in, threw the covers of the bed down, and said to Callie, "Go make some excuse to Luce's parents. Tell them-," she wracked her brain, a plan forming, "tell them she's sick."

Callie's expression turned bewildered. "Won't they want to check up on her?" she asked.

"I'm hoping they won't," She grimaced.

"Fine," Callie said after looking like she was arguing with herself for responding to this request. She turned to go downstairs.

Molly ran to the closet and searched. There! She pulled out a black wig that was sitting on top of a super hero costume probably from when Luce used to go trick-or-treating or something like that. Molly tucked up her hair and put the wig on. She went back to the bed and pretended to lie under the covers with the expression everyone gets when they're sick plastered on her face-stomach pains.

Please let this work, she prayed. Wow, a demon praying. What else was new?

Callie came back up the stairs breathless. "I told them she's not feeling well," she explained. "They wanted to check up on you, but I said I'd stay with you in case you needed anything. Gabbe's here, too. I think she came back in with the Prices." Then she took in the wig on Molly's head. Her brow furrowed. "What is that?"

Molly glared at her. "I'm pretending to be Luce."

"Okay," Callie answered, but it sounded more like a question. The girl couldn't take any more. She slid down the wall and collapsed. Molly heard the snores quickly after. She had fallen asleep.

Huh, Molly thought, at least I don't have to deal with that problem tonight.
