Disclaimer: I don't own it
Author's note: This is really bad. Probably some of my worst work. However, it's a nice plot, and I wanted it out there.
Harrison Kelso sighed in the first bus seat in the first bus out of Philadelphia. His blue eyes were rimmed red from his incessant sobbing that had seemed to just stop, but still, he was returning home. He twiddled his thumbs as he awaited the inevitable. The bus came to a halt, and he collected his two bags from the empty seat next to him. His boots hit the pavement with a dignified thud, and he held his chin high.
His father's wrinkled face was five feet in front of him, and yet, all he wanted to do was turn around, and run the other way.
"Come on, Harrison. My shift at the hospital starts in twenty minutes. You're going to have to wait there." Bob took Harrison's bags and placed them in the back of the convertible that he drove, and motioned for him to sit in the passenger's seat. An uncomfortable silence filled the air all the way to the hospital.
"Bob!" A curly headed doctor said, with a snarl on his lips. Harrison couldn't help but think the man sexy. "Bob, why, oh God, why, did you discharge Mr. Kreele? The man had two heart attacks!" Harrison's father sighed, the weight of the world on his shoulders. "I'm a cruel, evil man, Perry. Now shut the hell up and get back to work." Bob turned and walked out of the ER and towards his office. Harrison's eyes found his own brown shoes quite easily, guilt staining his cheeks. He'd completely defeated his father, and it killed him.
"Well now, don't tell me Bob-o switched to boys." Perry said, eying Harrison. Harrison snorted in response, sounding just like his father.
"I'm Harrison." He responded, watching the amused smirk fall, and it being the most satisfying thing he'd seen all day. Perry, who hadn't seen Harrison in years, turned on his heel, and walked into a patient's room. He didn't have the energy to deal with him right now.
Harrison sighed, and looked up, his green eyes narrowing at the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen in his life. A man, who was slightly on the tall side, with amazing black hair, and blue eyes that could kill someone, was putting an IV in a patient who looked quite unconscious. The man was singing a song, which sounded silly on its own, but the fact that he couldn't sing made it ten times cuter.
"Oh, waffle time, its waffle time. Won't you have some waffles of mine?" He sang. Harrison found himself smiling, not something he did often anymore. He found himself wondering who this was, and why he'd never met him before. As he watched, a bald, black surgeon approached the man, and whispered something in his ear. The cutie's blue eyes widened and he smiled. It was obvious how close the two were. He felt his stomach crunch. 'It's probably for the best that he has someone, anyway. No way he'd want anything to do with me' Harrison thought, frowning. And still, even though he'd given up right then and there, he couldn't help but notice how the light hit him, and made him glow. He couldn't help but want to be close to him.
