I have always wanted to write a fanfiction about my favorite character Kidou. This idea came to me long ago and ever since, I have wanted to write about it. So, I hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I did imagining it. It's been awhile since I've watched Inazuma Eleven, so some chronological mistakes/spoilers may happen.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything from Inazuma Eleven.

Urban Legend, what do you think of when you hear that? Fake. Unreal. Phony. Like the stories told at night to little children.

The definition of a legend is a story about mythical or supernatural beings or events.

There was no such thing as hell and heaven dwellers on Earth. Demons, angels, hell, heaven, none should be seen on our time on Earth. All of it was part of a silly legend told by Natsumi.

But, we were quickly mistaken.

While shopping, Toko bought buy two bracelets that looked similar to the bracelets of the dwellers. She gave one to Rika and the other to Haruna not knowing the hidden danger behind each accessory. It was supposed to be another practice day for Raimon before their next match against Italy. Instead, Raimon ended up on a wild goose chase against angels and demons.

The day was dark outside, but it didn't stop Raimon from practicing with friends. Everything seemed normal, each players was refining their skill while embracing their love for soccer. The players were split into two teams, one white and one red. Each team excited to play with and against each other.

Outside the field, you can see Edgar dribbling the ball and passing it to Toko nearby. As Toko ran for the goal, Toramaru slide tackles but fails as she continues by. The ball travels to Fideo whom is prepared to shoot at Tachimukai until unexpected lightning strikes. Everything else happened so fast. Players stopped playing, bracelets started glowing and unexpected guests visited.

All of a sudden, an angel named Sein and the demon called Desuta appeared on the field and captured Rika and Haruna. With Endou and Kidou as captains, the players split into two teams to travel to hell or heaven to save the girls.

What started as a rescue mission ended up with surprising results. Past the mountain's damp dark tunnels, an unexpected soccer match occurred.

Maou the Hand!

Dark Matter!

Iron Wall!

Go to Hell!

Shinkuuma!

Gladius Arch!

The End!

Anguished screams echoed through the dark depths of hell. There were so many Hissatsu tactics and strategies used by both teams.

Each team was fighting for points to support their own cause. Raimon fought to rescue Kidou's sister, Haruna, while Hell Army Z fought for potentials souls to offer and awaken the Demon Lord.

At the end of the soccer field, a stone board displayed the current score. Both sides were tied 2-2 with little time to spare. The tension weighted heavily on everyone's heart, especially Kidou's. For it was his little sister who life was in the hands of monsters.

Haruna cuffed in chains with tears in her eyes looked back at her brother fighting for her freedom. Kidou dribbled the soccer ball glanced back up at his sister.

We need to finish this now to have any chance of saving her!

I'm going to save you once we defeat these guys.

"Let's do this! Sakuma! Fudou!"

Both knowing what to do, each ran alongside Kidou to prepare for their final shot.

With little time left in the match, everything depended on this shot. If they succeeded, Haruna would be free from Hell Army Z. If not, her soul would be soon devoured by the sleeping Demon Lord.

"Emperor Penguin No.3!"

"The End!"

Raimon expect to hear the shwoosh of the goal net as the shot passed the goal keeper. But, the sound was never made, utter silence in its' place. No cheers of victory nor heartfelt reunions occurred. Only the buzzing of the match timer's end echoes throughout the caves.

Nostalgia spread across the field of Raimon as realization was made. Kidou's hissatsu shot failed and the score remained 2-2. They failed to outscore Hell Army Z. They had just lost the game.

Raimon was speechless at this point, unsure about what just occurred. But, they knew that their failure lead to consequences, losing Haruna.

Everyone with fear in their eyes looked at one another in hopes for a solution, an idea, anything that could change the circumstance. But, all hope seemed lost.

"No, no, no." uttered Toramaru.

Tachimukai started crying by the goalpost while talking about his failure at protecting the goal. Tsunami kneeling beside him tried to soothe the young boy while holding back his own tears.

The North and South American players were huddled together, shame written on each of their faces.

The former Teikoku players were still shocked about their missed shot. Fudou was staring down the enemy goalkeeper angrily because he caught his shot.. On the other hand, Sakuma was looking over at Kidou whom was lost in thought. It was obvious that this affected him the most of everyone.

"Kidou, are you ok? Kidou?"

No response came from his former captain. He just stood there, looking at the goalpost. Sakuma voice was a faint ring in his ears. Kidou has heard nothing, for his mind was elsewhere.

What? I placed all my being into that last shot and yet, it failed. I failed Haruna, I failed myself and the team.

Was I still lacking power? What did I do wrong? Why couldn't I save Haruna in time?

Sakuma saw the anic in Kidou's face and started walking closer to him. "Kidou." Said Sakuma worriedly.

"This can't be happening right?" Whispered Kidou.

It's my job to protect Haruna no matter what. I said that I would travel the depths of hell to save her, and I won't break that promise. How can I save Haruna now? There is only one way.

"Desuta!" screamed Kidou.

"Hmmm." spoke Desuta grudgingly. His back turn against the losing team. He had no need to speak to them now that victory was assured. But, why not let them continue to humor him. Sarcastically, he spoke loudly to Kidou.

"What do you wish for now? Your team has lost against us and the demon lord has its' sacrifice. We are finished now. Surely, there is nothing you could offer us that will change that fact." Desuta started to walk away with the rest of the demon players. Haruna was grabbed roughly by her arm and dragged away.

"Onii-chan!"

"Wait! There is something I can actually offer you!" yelled Kidou.

Desuta stopped walking and turned around. "And what might this be?" Answered Desuta curiously.

Kidou knew what must be done to save his sister. With his head held high and zero hesitancy in his voice, Kidou proclaimed...

"Take my soul instead as your sacrifice!"

Well, that's the first part to my story. There is probably tons of writing errors in this. But, it's my first story and I'm trying my best.
