A/N: Mwahahaha! I wrote this while I was watching Rush Hour 3. So, I was a little distracted and the characters are possibly, probably, most likely, OOC. XD Sorry guys. But like I said before, flames are welcome! Oh, this takes place right after the ending scene in The Fever. It has nothing to do with the story though. =^^=
She was cheerful, energetic and (self-proclaimed) captain of the cheerleading squad. He was the shy, introvert, ace-running back of the Deimon Amefuto team. Sena had always liked her. Now, she was right next to him, skating and whistling happily. It's the perfect time to tell her his feelings. The problem is….he doesn't know what to say. It's halfway to her house. He needs to find a topic soon before they arrive at her house. But what should he start off the conversation with? Amefuto? Not likely, she barely understands half the game. Hiruma-senpai and Mamo-nee's relationship? 'Yeah. Let's go with that, then work my way up to our relationship!' He thought. He gathered his courage to talk.
"Ne.. Sena-kun, do you like me?" Suddenly Suzuna spoke up.
"Uh..what?! Um.. Err.. Uhh.." Sena stuttered while he tried to make a full sentence in his head.
"So…?" She teased. Her antenna/pointy-piece-of-hair-thingy pointed to him. She grinned evilly, waiting for the answer.
"Um.. I..You..Me..Uh…" Sena still couldn't make a good sentence. He was blushing really hard and sweating a lot. Suzuna giggled and skated off to her front porch, which was just a few feet away.
"Thanks for walking me home Sena-kun!" She was about to open her front door when he grabbed her shoulder and spun her around.
"Sena-" She was cut off with his lips crushed against hers. It lasted for only about 5 seconds, then heran away in light speed. Suzuna was still shocked. She felt her face getting warmer and finally went inside her house after staring into space for a few moments.
"My dear sister! Where have you been? I was so worried!" Taki hugged her when she got inside.
"Why are you smiling?" He asked, seeing the goofy smile plastered on her face. She didn't seem to mind the hugging from her brother, which was awkward.
"Nothing…Just nothing…" She pulled away from her brother's hug and went up to her room. Her heart was pounding and she couldn't seem to stop smiling like an idiot.
That night, Suzuna was sitting on her bed, hugging her teddy bear and staring off into space.
BZZZZT…BZZZZT…BZZZZT…
Her phone vibrated. She looked at the display screen.
1 new message.
Who could it be from? She flipped open the phone and squealed in excitement when she saw the name of the sender. It was Sena!
'I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't have the guts to stay after I ' The message stopped. Suzuna was confused when she read the text message. A few seconds later, another text came.
'Sorry. My hands were trembling and I accidentally pressed the send button. What I was trying to say was, I really like you, and I didn't mean to run earlier. I'm sorry.'
She replied.
'That's okay Sena-kun. I'm really happy that you like me. The truth is, I really like you too.'
'Really??! Suzuna-chan, does this mean…'
'Yup. I'm officially your girlfriend! YA~!!!! XD'
Suzuna waited for 15 minutes for a reply, but it never came. She was curious, so she called him.
RIING…RIIING…RIING…CLICK.
"Hello? Sena-kun?"
"I'm sorry, this is his mother. Sena is unconscious now, try calling back in the morning."
