Prologue
Kagome winced as her back hit the wall, claws digging into her throat. She could feel the blood trailing down from the new slices. She opened her eyes to a set of unrecognizable black demon eyes. A growl ripped from its throat . 'Inuyasha' she cried in her head. But it was useless, he couldn't hear her. The demon drew back his hand and Kagome closed her eyes waiting for the strike . She screamed as a gun shot sounded through the alley. The claws retracted and a thud came next. Kagome opened her eyes to see the demon dead in front of her. She turned her head to see Inuyasha coming towards her, placing his gun back into the waistband of his jeans.
"Inuy-" she tried to rush to him but was shoved back into the wall, his hands pinning hers to the wall on either side of her head.
"You stupid girl! I told you to stay in the club. NOT FOLLOW HIM!" Inuyasha yelled and growled at her.
Kagome frowned "since when do I take orders from you? I believe I was ordered to take orders from SESSHOUMARU. Never was I ordered to take them from you!" She yelled back.
Inuyasha growled louder, "When I became alpha EVERYONE INCLUDING YOU were ordered to take orders from me! I am your alpha bitch! You are mine!"
"I'm not property Inuyasha! I am not KIKYO!"
Inuyasha's ears flattened, "I know that!… You are nothing like her." His voice softened to normal. Kagome watched as his eyes lowered. Her hands dropped to his shoulders, "hey" she whispered.
He looked up, "hmm?"
Kagome tilted her head to the side to show him the cuts, "can the alpha fix this?" Inuyasha growled again but nodded leaning down to her neck. His tongue ran over the wounds healing them and Kagome held still. He squeezed her waist before drawing back. They locked eyes and held each other's gaze. A growl ripped through the silence, "what Sesshoumaru?"
The older inu growled again, "Do you have any idea what you've done?"
Inuyasha never looked away from Kagome's eyes, "I just initiated a gang war."
Kagome's eyes widened and she felt the air leave her lungs. They were at war with The Arachnids.
Because of her.
