Shattered

Erza was skeptical when Sho spoke with her, it didn't make sense. She hadn't destroyed those ships, or betrayed them. HE exiled her it was all HIS doing. Why did it still hurt, she built a wall and protected herself, told nobody, and never spoke of her tragic beginning. Yet, she couldn't forget, wouldn't forget, hasn't forgot. HE striped her of the hope HE had once given her but it wasn't HIM. Something had changed HIM. HE wasn't THAT, whatever THAT was that took HIM from her. She mentally scolded herself for thinking such silly thoughts, of course it was HIM, HE was never her's to begin with, and it was always false hope. Erza desperately wanted to believe but struggled as HE pushed her into the etherion. She wanted to be wrong, she wanted it to be a nightmare, to wake up at the resort with the team(and Juvia), but it was too vivid; even though in her dreams HE was the most vivid thing, the pain in her dreams was not physical pain like this, it was more like pure fear and ache untainted by bittersweet feelings. This left doubt like a bad taste in her mouth. Then HIS words struck her harder than any sword or magic could even be in league with: "I really loved you." he said it so casually like it was nothing. His eyes reminded her of daggers, piercing her heart, no very existence. "I don't know you..." she murmured barely audible; he must have heard it, for something flashed in HIS eyes. "Jellal?" she croaked hoarsely, but it was gone just as fast as it appeared; leaving her broken soul shattered.
