Cheryl's heart was strong. Cheryl, herself, like her pokemon, had high HP.

As Cheryl watched Dawn's funeral, she could feel herself stand up once more. It was a sad occasion. Yet, it still wasn't enough to make her fall down, and break into peices. She was now sick of her own strength. She wished she could feel a bit more sorrow for her best partner, lover, and friend. She wished she could feel a bit more sympathy. She wished she could feel a mourn a bit more.
She couldn't. She had hit points left. Her heart could take a bit more, and she was forced to stand up once more. It hurt to be strong.-And, even that fact wasn't enough to make her submit.

She stood up. Everyone in the hall needed to do so. Cheryl could. Her ally wasn't. Cheryl simply gave her a hand.
"Are you okay? I know it's hard, I know you're not. But, you have to stand up, you know. Now, please will you stand up? I'll help you. Lets help eachother."
Cheryl said. Then Marley refused to take her hand. Cheryl said nothing more. She knew she was the only one able to stand up. The fact sucked.

Cheryl walked a few steps toward Dawn's portrait. She was smiling inside the frame. Behind her was the god, Giratina. She was indeed the Sinnoh Champion. The portrait gave Cheryl some relief. The others couldn't get anything of the dumb picture.

"We admire you, Dawn."

Making those her last words, Cheryl silently walked out of the hall.
