It had been three weeks since the angelic host had left the people of earth to their own destruction. Castiel remained with his friends and as punishment for that his powers were being slowly drained from him.
It started out slow. Like little things. This is the story of how Castiel's first shopping trip came to pass.
It was a regular Monday morning during the appocolipse. The Croats were out looking for people to infect but there weren't many. People still didn't know what was happening with but that not the point. They were out looking for victums. Sam and Dean were looking for a way to defeat Lucifer without Sam giving in and becoming Lucifer's little bitch.
That is until they looked up when Castiel entered. Upon seeing the ex-angel they started to laugh.
When Castiel was angel his clothes along with his body would heal after dealing with an enemy. They thought it was going to take a while but this was rediculous. His clothes weren't healing. The wounds had healed but the clothes were still in tatters.
Castiel looked around wondering why his friends were laughing at him. To him this wasn't very funny. His clothes should be normal by now.
"Cas," said Dean still laughing slightly, "I think you need some new clothes there buddy."
"Yeah," said Sam. "You do have to wear clothes."
"It's a law after all."
"Where do I get clothes?" asked Castiel.
"During all this time wearing a human suit you haven't gone shopping," said Dean in absolute complete shock at what he was hearing.
"No."
"Well," said Sam, "there is a first time for everything. We are going to take you shopping for some clothes."
Sam and Dean grabbed Cas by the arms and drug him down to a WalMart. They walked to the Men's department.
"Ok," said Dean. "What jumps out at you Cas?"
"What does that mean?" asked Cas.
"What do want to wear Cas?" asked Sam. Sometimes you just had to up front when Cas was concerned.
Cas walked around looking at all the clothes on the racks. He picked up a few pairs of jeans and shirts and went and tried them. When he came out of the dressing room with all the clothes back on the hanger. He nodded. "These will suffice. I guess."
"Good," said Sam. "Now we need to get you a pair of shoes."
They walked over and Sam found a pair of shoes that would hold up to the wear and tear that they would be subjected to. They went and paid for everything. Then they went back to the motel room.
The End Or Is It?
