Harry Potter and crew trumped up the many flights of stairs up to the Astronomy Tower. Umbridge had just posted Decree 26. Their teachers could no longer give information to the students that was not related to their subject. The students were muttering horrible things that they wanted to happen to the toad like teacher. Harry and Ron had taken to including dreams about severely hurting Umbridge in their dream charts for Trelawney. It was rather fun actually and at least now they didn't have themselves being eaten by zombies twice a month, there were only so many horrible predictions you could make up.
The students had finally made it to the top and opened the door and stepped out into the cool night air. They all took their places at their telescopes and waited for instructions. But none came.
"Where is Professor Sinistra?" Hermione asked to no one in particular.
"Hem hem, I will be teaching this class," Seamus said mimicking Umbridge.
The other boys joined in each impersonating Umbridge's annoying habit of clearing her throat. The girl fifth years just sat back and watched them looking rather amused. Hermione just gave them the death glare.
"Stop, before you guys- " Hermione started
"-Get into trouble, hem hem. Really Hermione I don't see what you're worried about it's not like the toad can even make it up to this tower." Seamus said.
The two Gryffindors glared at each other. A sudden hem hem came from near the door and everyone jumped. There stood the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Seamus' face drained of color.
"Did you say something about me Mr. Finnigan?" Umbridge asked with a scarily sweet smile upon her face.
"Uh… n-n-no. I wasn't saying anything," Seamus stammered as he went to his telescope.
"Hem hem, now, I came up here to let you know that Professor Sinistra is sick. Unfortunately I do not know much about astronomy so I can't teach to you." The Gryffindors sighed in relief. "But I was able to find someone who studied astronomy to teach you." The toad woman stepped aside to reveal the person who would be teaching them.
