The girls were enjoying an evening bath and looked up at the night sky. Keitaro also looked up at the sky but his thoughts sere not ones of happiness and joy. For the fifth time today Naru had sent him flying for no reason. Hell he had only bumped into her and she hit him for that.
He thought for a bit then made his choice. Moving to the closet he began to rummage around till he found what he was looking for. Standing up he moved to the door and walked down the hall.
Naru was talking to Motoko and Mutsumi while Sara and Su gained up on Shinobu splashing her with water. All activity stopped as the door slid open. The girls turned to watch as Keitaro walked calmly into the onsen. At first they were confused since it was rather unusual for Kei to just walk in he usually fell or crashed through the wall.
Naru and Motoko stood up and began to advance on him. Motoko somehow drew her sword from thin air while Naru started her wind up. However neither girl managed to get close to him. They were stopped dead in their tracks.
Keitaro didn't say anything. But the Desert Eagle in his hand spoke louder than any words or threat.
The girls were stunned Keitaro was always so nice and peaceful this blatant act of aggression was not like him. He looked at each girl with cold dead eyes, but when his gaze settled on Naru tears began to course down his cheeks. After all it was she who had taken his heart his dreams and destroyed them.
He didn't speak. But taking a breath he began to sing. His voce was not chocked with sobs or incoherent. If anything it was cold as steel.
"We keep writing talking and planning.
But everything is changing.
We all know what to do but no one does it.
Now this time has passed and full of regret.
Two in my heart have left me a while, I stand-alone.
When they get back, it won't be the same
My life you've always been there.
Now you're gone and my head's spinning.
Left the childhood, left the memories.
Left the good times in the past.
Moving on . . . your time has run out.
Wishing the clock would stand still, the world can wait.
Wasting away once again once lived as friends.
As time passes by, regrets for the rest of my life.
The ones who I confide were gone in the black of the night.
Never will I forget you, and all the memories past.
So rarely I get to see your face.
Growing I looked to you in guidance.
We knew that time would kill us.
But you're still so close to me.
To me you were my life.
To me you were my soul companion.
Now you are so far away.
Nothing can take away the time and the memories we had.
Come back – to the days when we were young.
Come back – to the days when nothing mattered."
The gun moved and Motoko reacted hoping to block the shot with her blade.
The report of the gun was deafening to all in the onsen.
Motoko lay on the ground looking over her shoulder.
Tears coursed down her cheeks.
Naru had collapsed in the onsen.
Shinobu finally screamed. Su and Sara just sat their dumbly unsure of what to do.
It fell to Haruka to move and close the unseeing eyes of her nephew and remove the gun from his dead fingers.
