Her eyes scanned the sea, hopelessly searching for even the smallest glimpse of him. It had been too long. Too much waiting. Too much watching. Too much heartache.
"Sora…" Kairi whispered. Even the feel of his name on her lips saddened her. It had been two years since he had promised her he would come back for her. Two long years, and he still hadn't come.
