Written by Alden R. Davis

Disclaimer: This is a comic book, crossover, fan-made story of Iron Man in a urban battle against a urban Predator in the streets of New York City. The characters of "Iron Man" is owned by Marvel Comics & Paramount Pictures, and the characters of the "Predator" universe created by Jim & John Thomas and it's owned by 20th Century Fox and Dark Horse Comics.

This story begins with a kickboxing match in New York City. Each of the fighters are backed by two of the city's biggest mobsters - Eddie DeVane and Tony Hernandez. But when the winner of the kickboxing fight is killed in his penthouse apartment shortly after the bout, the detectives of the New York City Police calls in Iron Man to help investigate the murder. Though accusations are pointed directed against Hernandez, the sponsor of the kickboxing fighter, the grisly, yet unusual murder (consisting of spine and skull removal) suggest otherwise. Iron Man's main goal is to avoid a mob war on the streets of New York between the two rival mob bosses - the death of the losing kickboxing fighter only making things a lot more complicated.

In an attempt to defuse the confilct, the mayor of New York City arranges a meeting between the two rival mob bosses in which Eddie Devane is found brutally murdered by an unseen intruder. Clues leads Iron Man to the ultimate hunter's hideout, but in a deadly duel between blood and steel, he comes close to losing his own life to the Predator, but Tony Stark ejects himself from his Iron Man Red-and-Gold armored suit and escaped alive. Tony returns back to his underground base called the "Armory," where he goes underground to regroup.

Over the next few days, and in the absence of Iron Man, the Predator takes out Eddie DeVane's manpulative right-hand man, mobster Tony Hernandez, twenty-nine street gang-members, nineteen drug dealers, thirteen rapists and New York's current mayor in a series of random, calculated gruesome murders. Detective Schaefer's partner, Detective Rasche (the character from the "Predator" comic-book series) comes face-to-face with the ultimate hunter is almost killed in his own home by the Predator, but he escaped alive.

Later, Tony Stark attempts to fight back, knowing that the death toll rises every day when a major countdown is initiated by members of the National Guard and the S.W.A.T. teams: If Iron Man does not show up before the end of the countdown, they plan to flush the Predator out of hiding by searching for him, street-by-street, a tactic that will likely take more human lives than would be saved.

After being out of action for the past few days, Tony Stark plans to come face-to-face with the Predator in a final battle, by using the new and improved War Machine armored suit (that was originally warned by his best friend and partner Colonel James Rhodes) to increase his strength, with incredible stealth technology and fantastic new weaponry. The battle between Iron Man and the Predator begins on the roof of the Empire State Building, the fight continues on the city streets and it ends on the outskirts of Hudson River. Iron Man finally defeated the Predator with a sledgehammer, whose fatally wounded just as its ship lands, with others of its kind disembarking. The defeated and wounded Predator honorably commits suicide with a sword which the Predator commander presents it to Iron Man as a gift before leaving. Later, after surviving a major ordeal with the Predator, Iron Man is confident that the Predators would return after having met what lives in New York City.
