Chapter One

New Friends At Last!

"What are you looking at?!" A seven-year-old boy with pink hair and sharp fangs questioned rudely at the young blonde who chuckled at his failure. Another young boy stared at her. He had raven hair and had dark navy eyes. That young boy stood tall, while his other friend laid down at the floor, underneath the other's feet. They were recently fighting before the blonde laughed at them.

"No-nothing," The blonde replied. She on the other hand, just ran away from home but suddenly stopped on top of a hill after sighting the two young boys fighting next to the stream. She's never seen such violence among two kids. It was just plainly funny in her eyes.

"What's your name?" The raven haired asked. After she had heard the two fighting, she had understood their names. The raven haired was Gray, while the pink haired was Natsu. "-You're not going to reply?"

"Umm… Lucy. Lucy Heartfilia," She finally answered. "You're Gray. Am I correct?" He stood there flabbergasted.

"How did you know?!"

"I heard you say each other's names when you fought-"

"-Enough about squinty eyes!" Natsu roared. "Do you know my name? I bet you don't!" He snickered.

"Yeah it's Natsu." Lucy said in a matter-of-factly-tone.

"HAHAHAHA! How did you know?" Lucy face palmed. Judging by Natsu's replies, Lucy immediately knew that Natsu wasn't the brightest.

"What school do you go to?" Gray asked. Looking up at her.

"I went to," Lucy had to make up a school nearby. She didn't want to tell them she ran away from home.

"Lucy-sama!" A maid ran to Lucy, puffed after chasing her. "Jude-sama… wants you… back." I nodded. This is the fifth time I got caught this week. Dad was still on a business trip and is coming back tonight, so I better come back before he arrives. We started to walk back to the carriage in front of the market, where I left it.

"Wait!" I stopped. "What school do you go to?" Natsu shouted, standing back on his feet.

"I go to Pana Primary school." I shouted back, but Mary hissed.

"Well. Nice to meet you Lucy. I hope we can meet together again!" Gray answered as the sun had set.

"You shouldn't trust strangers Lucy-sama. What if Jude-sama found out?" Mary whispered, looking at me with concerned motherly eyes.

"They're my friends," Lucy smiled back. "I can't wait to meet them again!"

This was a very fun day indeed. Lucy never thought that she'd finally have a friend after all these years of being bullied. She grinned at the thought. The blonde was finally having fun.

So that was the first chapter. Hoped you like it! Please don't review bad stuff. This is my second fanfic and my other one was just plainly horrible. So don't read it! Another chapter will be released shortly.
