Unsung Hero

Birds erupted to the sky,

Reacting to the sweet girl's cry.

One head turned towards the sound,

Of rapid footsteps on the ground.

A strangled sigh fell from his lips,

As hard rough hands enclosed her hips.

He wordlessly approached the scene,

Where a man attacks a sweet young teen.

His eyes turned to the coldest black,

As he pressed the wall into her back.

The violence flowed through his veins,

As he processed the drunk mans aims.

And soon enough his hands were red,

With the blood that the monster had easily bled.

But as he turned to the one he saved,

The fear of the violence made her cave.

And as though he was not the awful man,

The girl saw a monster and immediately ran.

And so another monster was zero,

Because of our violent unsung hero.
