Rage
No one believed in him. No one thought he was any use, just that big stupid guy who was there, but no one cared. He made sure they paid for their thoughts. The police shot him as he attempted his forty-sixth homicide.
Solitude
He was born into a distinguished family. He was the only son, and he had no playmates. His father was a workaholic, his mother a socialite. In the end, he died of a sickness. Their only lament was their heir was gone.
Aging
He just died of natural death. No shinigami came to purify him. Waiting and waiting as his bones began to rot. Waiting and waiting as hollows devoured him. Still waiting as he sat upon that throne in Hueco Mundo. Time went by. No one came.
Sacrifice
She died while saving him in a car accident. He never showed up to her funeral. She sacrificed her life to protect him. He lived on recklessly, as she watched helplessly. She felt dying wasn't worth it, and that proved true by his overdose a month later.
Emptiness
He thought they were in love. He caught her kissing someone else. Then, while he tried to make things right, she told him it was over. The next day, he was hanging from his bedroom window. They called it suicide.
Despair
Some shinigami thought it would be great fun to change a demi-hollow into a hollow by ripping at its hole. They laughed as they told him he had no hope of going to Soul Society. They never made it back either.
Destruction
Going around, blowing things up and wrecking havoc everywhere. That was the life of a terrorist. He enjoyed it thoroughly, and destroyed anything he could. He supposed it was a stupid mistake to let the building fall on him though.
Intoxication
There were people out there who hated him. They disliked how he was the owner of the company due to family heir. It came as no surprise to anyone when someone drugged his drink at a company party. They all just wished they thought of it first.
Madness
No one could talk sense into him. No one could help him. They all watched as he became more and more insane with the ideal of become the perfect creature, something he brought with him long after he died.
Greed
He wanted more. He was a spoiled brat, depending on his parents for everything. They gave him what he wanted. Then they died. His relatives took everything and sent him to a group house. He paid the price for his greedy stealing.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Yes, they were the most dangerous creatures the Soul Society had ever seen. Yes, they had aided Aizen in his attempt to take over the world. However, each has a story before their time. Each had lives that eventually lead them to becoming a hollow.
Not everyone is allowed a happy ending. They never had a choice.

I always disliked Soul Society for not getting there fast enough to purify the Pluses. I mean, you complain about hollows, but you don't get there in time for preventing that. Just my rant.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this. The one that spurred it all was Ulquiorra's, and then I decided to expand it. I like the Espadas, so they have to have some depth into their actions. It's like; Aizen was the one who gave them a choice to be stronger right? And basing it on my rant above, the Soul Society hated them in the first place so… what choice did they have?
