Nora and Ren had been friends since they were children growing up side by side. They hardly got into any type of fights or disagreements. Now that they are both older things are about to changes for them.

Nora had been silent for the last couple of days she wasn't acting like her warm, loving happy self. She walked into team JNRP dorm everyone was out doing their own thing. She put a note on Ren bed and walked out of the dorm. Nora walked to the courtyard and sat on a bench waiting for Ren. Today was the day, the day Nora was finally going to tell Ren how she felt nothing was going to stop her.

Ren walked into JNRP dorm looking for Nora he saw the note on his bed which read

Hey Ren,

Meet me in the courtyard there something I want to talk to you about.

NORA

Ren had a feeling it was about how Nora felt toward him. They never brought the subject up about being more then friends. Ren really liked Nora a lot for a long time. But he already thought about the effect would be if they went together. What would happen if things don't work out, could they handle still being friends. A couple years back right before they joined Beacon he decided not to risk their friendship over a relationship they can turn out badly or amazing.

As Ren made his way to the courtyard he was trying to figure out what to say Nora without hurting her feeling.

"Hello Nora"

"REN you hear, you came"

"The note said you wanted to talk to me"

"Umm… Yes"

Ren sits down next to Nora "Nora is everything okay… you seem like something is wrong"

"Well Ran" she looks at the ground in silent

"Ren what do you think about me?"

"Nora you're an amazing friend and we both grew up to…"

"NO that's not what I mean Ren" she looks up to face Ren

"Ren do you like me more as a friend"

It was silent not a single word was said it felt like hours but, it was only seconds.

Ren stood up breaking the silents between them and he started walking away from Nora. Nora was confused so many thought was going through her head; "why didn't he answer me" "Does he need time" "I shouldn't have said anything"

Nora stood up and ran after Ren yelling his name "REN REN"

Nora finally caught up to him and grabbed his arm, then Ren stopped and faced Nora

"Why didn't you answer me"?

"You can't just walk like that without saying anything"

"Ren... RE

"BECAUSE Nora … I didn't want to hurt you"

"What you saying... You don't feel the same way as I do?"

Nora looks to the ground once again she wanted to cry but, she couldn't"

Nora whispered "its okay Ren I understand... I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought it up"

Nora started to walk away from Ren. Then Ren grabs her by the arm pulls her closes to him and surprise Nora with a gentle kiss.
