Hmm. I don't know what to say about this, really.
This is going to be some kind of vague Kuroshitsuji drabble collection based around gemstones. I don't even know where the eff this came from but I'm assuming some strange part of my eerie little mind...
Anyway, I hope you'll consider reading it. And I do hope you'll enjoy.
This first drabble will be vague AloisxCiel.
I.
Diamond
The diamond processes unique powers of light reflection, which help to increase personal clarity in the mind and body.
Alois didn't want to admit it, but he was terribly jealous.
Envy was a feeling he despised, but there he sat, seething with it. It nauseated him.
Evening found him no better off, and even the emotionless Claude paused to stare at his master for a moment before turning and adjusting his glasses as if he had noticed nothing out of the ordinary.
Really, was it written all over his face? How bitter.
Perhaps, however, there was only one way to get rid of the disgusting envy. He would have to wonder about why he was so painfully jealous in the first place.
Despite the fact that it could help, the idea didn't appeal to him for a number of reasons.
The first and foremost being that he didn't savor the idea of going through his own mind. His mind was messier than a destroyed file cabinet, in which some files were burned, torn, or drenched with water, impossible to read or figure out.
He really didn't savor the idea, but the thought of ridding himself of the feeling or at least understanding it was tantalizing.
He thought back to when the feelings began.
He had paid a call to that Phantomhive estate, feeling rather buoyant as he had done so. He didn't know precisely what to expect.
The house was nice enough, but that wasn't what threw him for a loop.
It was the...boy himself, the way he acted, the way he carried himself when he was safe at home in his own environment. Ciel was terribly irritated with him for being there, Alois could tell that much, but that wasn't what bothered him.
What bothered him was how...unbelievably pure the boy was.
And the realization stung him like a blow from a whip.
Everything Alois was on the outside was everything Ciel was on the inside.
Alois had polished his facade, made it flawless and impenetrable. He seemed like nothing more than a boy who had retained his youthfulness despite what pain he had been forced through.
Ciel Phantomhive, however, was different.
He covered himself with darker facades, colder ones. Ones that made anyone want to stay far away.
Within...he was somehow polished, pure. The boy himself didn't even know it.
Alois could see it, clear as day.
And it made him seethe with envy.
Upon realizing it, he sighed, knowing now exactly why he was so envious.
And, he realized, with a smirk curling his lips...
It was that precious beauty that he wanted all to himself.

Recommend a type of gemstone to me and then I'll see.
I started with diamond since it was pretty obvious and kind of easy to do.
But seriously, if you review, name a stone and I'll write a drabble for it~!
If no one makes suggestions then I'll just go with whatever I find most interesting.
