What's In A Name
Harry Potter knew he was special he just didn't know how to fit in. Years after spending time with his mean good for nothing relatives; who couldn't care less about him or his magical powers. As he laid on his bed and thought to himself about what happened to himself so far. He was finally happy with his new family the Mitchell's and meeting the other lightspeed rangers was an added bonus. They were all like one big family and each of the rangers though him something new Carter brought him and showed him around the mariner bay fire house. Chad taught him how to swim and even let touch a killer whale.
Joel even took him up into the skies and did a few stunts while he was at it. Harry enjoyed it so much despite throwing up after it. Harry enjoyed his older sister Dana's company they nearly practically do everything together. Ryan and Harry loved to rough house each getting covered in cuts and bruises much to Dana's dismay. Captain Mitchell was the best father ever since his deceased father was never around; and his uncle Vernon taught him absolutely nothing because he simply hated his existence. But the only thing that didn't fit well with Harry was his name sure he was the famous Harry Potter.
He was well known for surviving Voldemort for when he was a baby. But he also wanted to take the name Mitchell as well maybe he could hyphenate his name and take the Mitchell name as well. So just before dinner Harry went to ask his stepfather if he could do that just that. Captain Michell meanwhile was knee deep in paperwork when he heard a knock at the door. "Come in" he shouted without not even looking up from his paperwork. "Dad" a small voice said Captain Mitchell looked up to see his younger son Harry standing in the middle of the room. Looking rather unsure of himself Captain Mitchell could sense some hesitation from Harry.
After some gentle prodding Harry finally asked his step father if he could change his name and be called Harry James Potter - Mitchell instead. Captain Mitchell thought about it for a minute and then looked at Harry once again. Who again asked him was this what he truly wanted just to be sure and Harry shook his head. So Captain Mitchell agreed he'd help him with the process and during dinner Captain Mitchell and Harry shocked everyone by what Harry wanted to do by changing his name. They were all surprised at first. But when both Dana and Ryan asked him if that's what he wanted and Harry said yes then they were ok with that.
