She looks into the mirror, she's late again. "How will you ever get hired if you don't even show up on time for the interview?" Her mother chastises as she rushes by. "Mom, not now okay? I have much bigger problems to deal with than your whining." She snaps, then instantly regrets it, but it's common reflex now, and she couldn't take it back, not even if she wanted to. "Leah, I know you're tired and I know your upset but still…" She trails off as she watches her broken daughter run towards her car. "Good luck!" She calls, Leah doesn't notice. While driving to the small town of Forks she fixes her hair once again and tries to convince herself that this'll be the one. She has been trying to get a summer job since all her summer plans were canceled by the same person that broke her fragile heart. "Hello, name please?" The receptionist asked as she walks into an older bank building. "Leah Clearwater. I'm here for an interview." She almost smiled, but she really forgot how. "Room one, please Leah. Someone will be there shortly." She walked into the room, a standard office room. She sits in the cold metal chair and tries not to cry, this looks exactly like Sam's office. "Leah? Hello, I'm Sam Maverick, how are you today?" Leah freezes; she knows she can never work with a guy named Sam, not now at least. "Leah? Leah! Are you okay?" The older guy looks concerned. "I'm sorry to waste your time I just realized I'm late for a Doctor's appointment." She smiles a little stiff smile as she rushes away. Once in her car she drives until she's in the forest, then she's gone. Racing away into the trees, trying to put run your past is a lot harder than it looks.

Sometimes what Leah Clearwater really needs is to run away.
