AN: Today is the birthday that I legally became an adult. Yeah, so far, I'm not impressed. So, here we are. ;)

DISCLAIMER. I own nothing.

Prompt: We are the only two girls left after all the partnering-up stuff in this heteronormative dancing lesson so let's dance together i didn't like any of the guys anyway AU

"It's going well, isn't it?"

Jana pulls her gaze up from the floor, a smile on her face as Katrina joins her by the back wall.

"It seems so." She nods towards the large group of people crowding into the Kafe. "This was a good idea of yours, by the way. Dancing lessons for charity."

"You think?" Katrina inclines her head towards the dancers. TJ is currently stumbling around, tripping over his own two feet, a rather awkward-looking Selina on his arm.

Jana snorts. "Well. Maybe getting TJ involved wasn't the best idea, but the rest of it was. Most definitely."

"Thanks." Katrina is quiet for a moment, as if she's soaking in the atmosphere. "Aren't you going to partner up?"

"No one left."

"Come on, Jana. I know for a fact Matei's itching for a dance."

The redhead chuckles. "Well, he'll be itching for a dance for a while, then. I don't do that sort of thing."

"Really?" Katrina raises an eyebrow. "Not even if you found someone that you really wanted to dance with?"

"I suppose so." Jana answers with a half shrug.

Her flatmate watches her for a minute, head tilted to one side, as if studying some work of art in a museum, before extending out a hand.

"Come on."

"Wh - Are you being serious?"

"What is it going to look like if my trainee is skulking at the back and not having any fun? Come on - you know that you want to, deep down." Katrina fixes her with a meaningful look, as if she knows with certainty that this statement is fact. Jana pauses for a moment, until she sighs melodramatically and takes the outstretched hand.

"Fine. But, when I tread on your toes, don't say that I didn't warn you."

"Never, Jana. Never."

This was so short, but I just saw the prompt and ran with it.
