"You know what is the most bizarre about this situation, Break?" Sharon asked, hiding her face behind her fan.

"Gilbert crying in the corner?" Break suggested, pursing his lips thoughtfully.

"No, although that is very peculiar." Sharon spared a glance at the dark-haired man in the corner, before looking back at the couch. "No, it's that nothing about this seems the least bit inappropriate. And they're entangled in each other!" At that, a weak sobbing sound came from Gilbert's corner. "Oh, get over it."

Break chuckled, looking at the two youngsters asleep on the couch. Alice had been hit by one of her odd sleeping-spells while she and her Contractor sat on the couch. Oz, apparently, had become rather relaxed with that state of affairs and had taken a nap with her, which somehow had ended with them lying on the couch in a tangle of limbs, heads, and bodies. One arm was over the side of the couch, another was somewhat awkwardly caught beneath that one, a third was supporting the other's head, and the fourth was thrown over the back of the person on top. Their legs were made so that both of one's legs hugged one of the other's.

"I do believe the reason for that is that the two has no idea what personal space means." Break pursed his lips and stared thoughtfully at the gloomy Gil in the corner. "At least when it comes to the other. Just think of how close they often are, anyway."

Sharon nodded thoughtfully. "But, still… Falling asleep like that is hardly…"

"Appropriate? It's a matter of attitude. For them, it means nothing except, perhaps, warmth. They see nothing wrong with it. Not even the young man."

Alice made some grumbling sound that might have been an order to shut up and twitching one of her arms, it's caught state all that kept her from punching at the air. Oz woke up at the movement, blinking groggily at the sudden light. Squinting at his spectators he grunted and raised the hand dangling over the side to his lips with a visible effort and shushed them. "She's comfy," he told them. When they nodded in understanding, he seemed satisfied to let his hand drop again and go back to sleep.

"They are quite sweet, aren't they?" Sharon asked, lowering her voice to avoid waking them.

"Come, let's leave them to it. And drag Gilbert with us," Break answered, ushering his mistress from the room.

When the door closed behind them, two eyes creaked open carefully, one purple and one green. "They're gone," Oz whispered.

"Good, their staring was putting me on edge." Alice disentangled herself a bit to slide down and lie between Oz and the couch's back.

"We sleep on?"

"We sleep on. You're a way too nice pillow not to take advantage of the moment."

Post-school writing! =D Yes, started before school and finished after school.

RealityBitez and I established that Alice uses a lot of energy, and thus she eats a lot and also needs a lot of sleep, prompting sudden and spontaneous sleeping spells.
