Art
By SMYGO4EVA
What is art, anyway? Is it something you have to do with the body and the mind? Is it an exquisitely cooked dinner? Is it a highly rated and intricate TV show? Is it something you can see? Something you can hear? Taste? Touch? Feel? Is it a painting that took nearly 3 years to create? Is it a play that took 2 months to produce? Or is it a beautifully written book?
One time, my family and I went out to Tokyo for the day, and I saw a lot of art. There were paintings that hung in the air like clouds, music that played and tickled my psyche, and the fragrances of nearby food that wrote their own poetry, magnifying the senses in the process. Indeed the art I saw was at its best.
Now here I am, writing all of this down like a starving artist who had just found inspiration. Now here I am, realizing that art isn't really found in any type of formation. This is because there is no real definition for art. Art is just what you see of stuff, I guess. What is art, anyway? The answer will be tough to find…
