For this first chapter, the Avengers do:
Lazerquest

Steve squinted up at the modernized building, with the word 'Lazerquest' in huge, neon, illuminated letters. The other Avengers, even Loki, Pepper, and Jane, were extremely hyper- they all knew what Lazerquest was. Hell, Loki, Steve, and Thor were the only ones that hadn't been. But Tony deemed this a good place for team bonding. He had rented out the entire place for a day, and gotten them the best arena- one that looked like the glowing forest from AVATAR...but...metal..and glowing neon. Tony explained to Steve the rules as they walked in.
Suiting up in the special black suits, the gang also got helmets on, laughing at how ridiculous they all looked. The nerdy and fangirling worker handed them all a charged Lazergun, babbling on about the rules and different effects of the arena. When she was finished, they all marched into the room.
And stared.
The room was pitch black, but the outlines of structures and obstacles glowed neon, multicoloured lights flashing, giving the HUGE room a futuristic feel. Clint and Loki cackled before running off, forming a pair. Tony went with Pepper; Thor with Jane. Bruce went with Steve, and Natasha decided to be a rogue. They all hid in separate corners of the room, before one member of each team was sent out.
Clint moved silently through the air vents above the room, with a sniper-style lazergun, ready to fight.
Natasha lurked in the center, in the hollow sphere.
Steve moved tactically through the room.
Thor stumbled on everything in his path.
Everyone who wasn't sent out crept around the edges of the room, to cover more ground. Steve was almost to Natasha when…
POW
A wild lazer appears!
Steve crashed to the floor, knowing being struck with the lazer light meant he was out.
IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!
Everyone laughed as Steve cried dramatically before crashing to the floor. However, he knocked into Thor, who spun and shot Jane, who shrieked and accidentally shot Natasha.
There was a wild barrage of lazers, and even Clint had fallen from the air vents, until only Loki was left standing.
He used his magic, and created two LAZER MACHINE GUNS!
The others shrieked, and ignored the rules, before running as a flurry of lazers flooded the room, pinging off of every surface as they ran, jumped, and dived for cover, ducking under obstacles.
"Call of Duty ain't got nothin' on this." Clint cackled as he shot lazers at Loki.
"Call of Duty: Modern Lazerfare!" Steve proudly announced.
"FUCK YES-OHGOD!" Tony shrieked.
Loki had combined paintballs and lazers into each machine gun, and cackled evilly.
"THE APOCALYPSE IS NIGH!" Thor screamed before running away. "RAGNAROK IS UPON US!"
"Protect the balls!" Tony remembered the paintball session.
"YES!" Steve ran off.
"How can he?" Loki smirked. "He doesn't have any!"
Clint high-fived him, before shooting a lazer in Loki's face.
