The brown jacketed detective sat on his cheap wooden floor. Being jobless, he spent most of his days in his small apartment adorned with colored boxes waiting for Lavie to come home.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha... This shouldn't be the life of a space detective!"

Kogoro stood up energetically and waved his arms around.

"I know! I will challenge Keroro to a battle! This way we can test and hone our skills!" The detective looked to the window with a broad, unnatural smile, and jumped out with amazing speed.

"Gero, gero, gero, iza susume..."

Keroro sat in the Hinata living room, taking the chance to build Gunpla out in the open while Natsumi and Fuyuki were at school. He was putting together a left arm when he heard a distant laugh.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha!"

Keroro perked up and dropped his Gunpla.

"Don't tell me tha-"

"DOOOUUUU!"

Kogoro smashed through the wall, sending bricks, glass, and other debris flying into the house. He struck a pose and pointed a finger at Keroro.

"Keroro! I challenge you to a battle to test your skills!"

"W-What in the world..."

"ADHESION!"

The detective thrust his arms in the air, and with a triumphant 'Ha', a battle helmet materialized on his head. Keroro was then forced to view three different views of Kogoro's battle helmet.

"UCHU TANTEI, KOGORO!" Kogoro shouted.

"Gero! Looks like he's serious! Kuru-"

Before Keroro could call Kururu for help, Kogoro pulled a blue laser sword out of his coat and swung it around a few times.

"LASER SHINAI! DOOOUUU!"

Kogoro brought his hand, and the sword, down on Keroro's body, which remained still for a few moments before exploding in a wild explosion filled with fire.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha! How's that, Keroro?!"

Keroro lay on the floor, burnt with his signature afro upon his head. His arms shook as he struggled to get up.

"Tch... Kogoro-dono, I never knew you would come here at this time..."

"You should've expected the unexpected! Ha, ha, ha, ha!"

"Well, you should've too!"

Kogoro watched in surprise as Keroro shot up into the air.

"Huh? What's he doing?!"

"KERORO ADHESION!"

The green alien thrust his arms in the air, and with a smug 'Gero', his own battle helmet materialized on his head. Kogoro was then in turn forced to view three different views of Keroro's helmet.

"PLANET INVADER, KERORO GUNSOU!" Keroro shouted.

"What?!"

"Gerogerogero! I have been practicing for this day as well, Kogoro-dono! Don't underestimate my power in this form! Now come, fight me!"

"Ha, ha, ha! I won't lose so easily!"

Kogoro jumped into the air and pulled out his sword again. Keroro mirrored his move and pulled out his own.

"KOGORO, ORGANIC SLAAAAAAAAAAASH!"

"KERORO, SERGEANT CUUUUT!"

The two swords met with immense force. Sparks were sent flying as Keroro and Kogoro struggled to beat one another. Keroro felt his hand start to slip.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha! I told you you were no match for me! Time to finish this! HUUUAGGGGGGGGH!"

Kogoro summoned all his might and overtook Keroro's sword.

"No, de arimasu!"

Keroro felt the sword against his chest for a split second before he was sent flying into the wall behind him in a ball of organic fire. The second his body hit the wall, it exploded.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha!"

Kogoro's helmet vanished as he returned to normal. He laughed at the scene, then dashed off into the night.

Keroro lay on the floor, burnt again.

"W-what...the heck...just happened..."

And this is why there are no Fanfictions centered around Kogoro.
