It was a cold icy day, like the day that changed her life. It was the day when- Suzuki brushed off the thought. She held back the tears as she trudged on.

It was her first year in America and it wasn't different from back home actually. The technology rivaled those of her country and everyone was being their busy little selves. What was different, though, was their attitudes. They might seem tough and rebellious at first but they were actually pretty nice.

*ahem* Suzuki looked up. "Oh! Sorry! I did not know it is my turn already." The movie theater guy nodded understandingly. "S'Ok." A little confused, she told the man she wanted to see the Avengers.

She had seen it a couple of times before of course. It was her favorite American movie. The guy looked confused. "I'm sorry?" "The Avengers!" "I'm sorry," he said. "I don't think we have that here." She blinked back her shock as the next guy asked for tickets.

She backed up... And crashed into the guy behind her. "I'm so sorry!" she said, feeling flustered. "It's okay," the tall man replied. She gaped at the guy.

How could she not recognize that tall muscular built, that blonde hair, and, especially, those piercing blue eyes. "Are you Steve Rogers?" she blurted out before she could stop herself. "Yes," he said puzzled. "How do you know my name miss?" "Um, well..."

The soldier's phone rang, saving her. She turned and waved goodbye. Before she could go though, Steve spun her by her shoulders. "Starbucks at noon on 38th street tomorrow." She gave him a wry grin. "Captain?" "Call me Steve." "Is that a date Steve?" She turned after seeing a blush creep on the man's face. She walked home, suddenly feeling warm.
