Fae can't sleep again so goes for a walk she finds Sebastian's room, and tiptoes in. He's fast asleep, she smiles, he looks so peaceful asleep. She tiptoes in and fixes the blanket, her hand lands on his chest above the heart as she's tucking him in. She feels his heartbeat on accident, it's still as calm. She looks up at him, he's still peacefully asleep. She takes a small risk and lays her head on his chest she listens to it a few minutes but as soon as she feels him stirs she rushes away.
She jumps into bed tucking herself into bed, and calms down enough for sleep. The next morning, she wants to do it again. She loves that sound, it's' as beautiful as his voice. She does this once again, and again for three nights. She is completely obsessed with his heart beat. It's so beautiful, she loves the sound of it. She has his routine down to a science, at least she thinks she does. On the fourth night however he wakes up and sees her leaving quietly. He smiles seeing her, he thought he felt something on him for the past three nights. He just had no clue it was his beautiful kitten, he finds it so cute. He has a clue based on where he felt her what she was doing.
"Sweet kitten, if you want to listen to my heart beat, all you have to do is ask." he says more to himself then to her, as she's too far away to hear.
He decides just to let her continue on this path until she admits it or "gets caught" by him. He finds her so endearing and adorable some days, despite her arguments that she isn't adorable. He closes his eyes once more and falls asleep. She does it a few more times after that without a clue that he knows she does it. She has his heart mesmerized by now and "listens" to that beautiful heartbeat in her mind, falling asleep to it every night. Though it's not the same as the real thing. She takes it though, happily, it's better than nothing at all. One night though she comes into his room the same time as always and he's awake reading one of his books. He looks up at you smiling before hiding that smile to hide the fact he knows what she is doing there.
"Lady Fae? What are you doing here? It's late. I sent you to bed a couple hours ago." says Sebastian, concerned setting his book down.
"I… I um… couldn't sleep…" says Fae, embarrassed that she got caught, and thinking he'll be mad at her.
"What's wrong, kitten?" asks Sebastian
"Sigh… I uh… I can't sleep without your heartbeat! I'm obsessed with it. I know that sounds weird, but I came in one day and heard your heartbeat while you were sleeping, curious. And ever since then I've been coming into your room while you're asleep to listen to it again. I'm obsessed with it, it's so peaceful and beautiful. I'm sorry." she says very ashamed and he can tell.
She's shocked when he puts the book down and with quick motion he puts her into his lap, holding her close in his arms.
"Miladay. THere is nothing shameful in that. If hearing my heartbeat is what you wish then so be it. A demon's heart beats for its master. And mine beats for you." says Sebastian
She literally melts into his chest completely happy. Sebastian makes her so happy, she doesn't want it to end. He smiles just happy to have her close. They are in each other's bliss.
"My heart is yours, my love." says Fae
"And mine yours, doll" says Sebastian
They smile holding her close, nothing could ruin this moment. No one and nothing can come between them. Nor will they let anyone or anything come between them. This love between them will forever last.
