The Council's waiting, I have to go. Even though I can't see you, I know you're trembling. You want me to stay by your side, to take back all the time we lost in all these years. Having spent my childhood with you, I know how you act. You're hiding your eyes behind your scarlet hair, hoping nobody sees how broken they are.

We were finally changing

It's our luck, we're a little too late.

Everything seemed to be getting better, I noticed it while holding your hand, when you told me to grab the future in front of me. And you stood right there, in front of me. I couldn't help but greedily looking at you, hoping you would really be my future.

And now, you're the one telling me to go, holding your comrades back from fighting. I know you're suffering, you only did this for my sake. So I accept it, giving you a grateful smile. In the end, this is what we get, what we always got.

I'd take you with me if there was a way.

I want to be still by your side, but I can't drag you into the hell I created. That's my punishment, what I deserve for all the pain I caused you. I'd like to tell you we'll meet again, but I know we never will. So I get in that carriage, whispering my last farewell to you.

Sorry don't cut it, so I say

Isolation will be my way to ask for your forgiveness. You may say an apology is enough, but deep inside your heart, you know you want to hate me. Or maybe that's just what I think. You're a sincere and direct person, what you say is what you mean. And that's how I know you're still in love with me.

Because of the nature of my guild, I don't have a real place to stay. When, after completing a mission, someone asks me where my home is, I can't help thinking about your eyes, your smile, your scarlet hair. It's strange, you would normally expect to hear about a place, but sometimes the only real home are people.

The war against Tartaros is over, and you're sitting next to a river. The sun is setting, colors are warm, the air is warm, but you're shaking out of fear. That's my fault, too, which is why I decide to get close to you and talk to you. I want you to go on, to shine so bright you'll obliterate the darkness surrounding you right now. I want you to tower strong and mighty over everyone and everything. Then I will see you again, and you'll save me from my darkness. You'll be my shelter, your arms will be the angel wings wrapping me and, when I'll be able to hold you, I'll finally be home.
