"Murderer"
------------
It has begun.
The Empire now hunts the Jedi openly and without fear. They hunt us like prey, like animals, chasing us across every system, searching every backwater planet, every lifeless rock.
Sometimes, even as far away as we are, we feel the deaths. For a brief instance there is a flare of fear and terror that surges through the Force and washes our souls with its intensity. Then it, and the voices from which it originates, is gone.
With it...
With *them*...go a little piece of us.
Especially from him.
Jinn suffers each death like a personal loss, a failure, and I don't know why. It is my belief that it is because of something in the time before. From something that happened when the Jedi still lived on Coruscant, in the temple, and moved freely throughout the galaxy. Something about who he was, someone he knoew, something he did, directly relates to now. What that something is, I cannot say. There is, after all, much about him I do not know. Even his true name.
For all the time we have lived this way, running, hiding, trying to hide others...for all the while we have tried to wrest a meagre existence from this unforgiiving universe, he has told me nothing of himself. I share his life, I share his bed, I like to believe I even share his heart, but I do not share him. His thoughts or his grief. He will not allow it.
All I can know of it is what I have deduced for myself.
Jinn believes himself the cause of the Purges. Believes a choice, a decision, an action of his is what set into motion the events that now unfold around us.
The Empire may hunt the Jedi...but Jinn is their murderer.
