Slot #65 [Event] Sleepover
Kevin leaned back on Betty's bed as he watched her finish cleaning up her desk. "Thanks letting me stay over tonight Betts." He yawned.
Betty twisted her head to smile at the boy on her bed. "It's not a problem Kev. You are honesty the first boy whom has been allowed to have a sleepover with me since I turned ten. Archie and Jughead used to be able too … but then mom and dad said now way."
Kevin hands tucked behind his head. "Helps that I'm gay." He winked.
Betty nodded. "Yeah it helps with that fact. I mean mom and dad aren't even afraid of you sharing my bed with me." She walked over and sat down on her bed at Kevin's hip. "Archie and Jughead had to stop when we turned eight."
Kevin moved over so that she could lay down if she wanted too. "I take it you really miss having sleepovers huh?"
Betty sighed. "Yeah." She nodded. "I mean I know I can still have sleepovers with the girls in our school." She bit her bottom lip. "But I'm not really truly friends with any of them. I mean when Polly has sleepovers with her girlfriends she always tries to include me. I mean I only really wanted to share sleepovers with Archie and Jughead." She shrugged. "I truly felt the most comfortable with them …. like I knew they wouldn't pay any tricks on me while I was sleeping."
Kevin reached out and placed his hand on Betty's moving on. "I'm glad that you feel comfortable with me Betty." He smiled.
Folding her legs up on the bed. "I just wish I could meet a girl that I feel that comfortable with." Betty shook her head. "But no matter." She stood to her feet and started to unfold her bed covers to get settled in for the night.
Kevin stood from the bed and helped his newest friend. After they got comfortable underneath the covers; and Betty had turned the light off. "So if I was able to have a sleepover at my house with Archie and Jughead .. then you wouldn't be able to come."
"I'll come. We just won't inform my parents … well my mom at least about the added guest list." Betty sighed into her pillow.
"I like how you think Miss. Betty Cooper." Kevin grinned in the dark.
Betty softly smiled.
