Light huffed in annoyance, stalking over and plucking the liquorice from L's hand; where it was halfway to his mouth.

L looked up at him turning in his chair slightly to face him. Light knew he wasn't happy with him for taking his precious candy from him.

"... Light-kun, please give it back; if you had wanted one, you simply had to ask." He spoke in his usual deadpan, watching as Light held the candy, absentmindedly wagging it every once and awhile as he spoke.

"Ryuzaki, you know you're on a sugar ban for now. Watari told you to eat healthier, and asked me to help discipline you." He repeated for what seemed the fifth time this week, and it was only Tuesday.

"I am aware; I have not had cake in at least two days. It has not been easy." He reasons, spinning the chair to fully face Light, away from the computer.

"So you think candy is better?" Light sighed, Watching as L nodded his head biting on the end of his thumb as usual.

"Candy has less carbs, as you probably know." The detective points out, his wide eyes making him seem innocent in the matter. Light almost wanted to just let it slide. Almost.

Instead, the brunette simply took L's arms, pulling him out of his seat. L stumbled a little as he was dragged from his usual crouching position, frowning as Light crossed his arms.

"No. We weren't worried about carbs. We were worried about sugar, liquorice is pure sugar. Now; empty your pockets and let me pat you down."

"Light-kun calm down, this is not necess-" he's interrupted by light forcing his arms above his head and patting his pockets and attire.

"Seriously?" Light began pulling all kinds of candy and sweets from the pale man's pockets.

It took Light several minutes to find all of it. He had hidden it well indeed; in his pockets, stuffed in creases. It was ridiculous.

"... Please return those to me."

"No. No sweets."

"But without it my deduction is decreased by-"

"No. I'm going to throw these out. You'd better not be eating anything when I get back." Light warned, giving the older male one last look. He left to throw the candy out in the kitchen.

L watched him leave the room, hearing his footsteps retreating to the kitchen. L gave a small smirk, and reached up, slowly taking a single black liquorice from behind his ear, where it was hiddrn in his black messy hair; and biting into it.

"You're good Yagami, but you didn't check everywhere."
