~Oh Papy dear!~ (Genderswap)
Mettaton was annoyed, and wanted to punch someone. Hard. But, she honestly wouldn't stoop as low as some of the humans around. She would most likely just scoff at someone if they talked to her. Although with the way she was half stomping her way through the grassy area of the park, she doubted anyone would bother.
"M-Mettaton? You okay?" Mettaton looked down at Papyrus who, bless the poor girl, looked as if she may just hide behind Mettaton at any moment. The robot sighed, she hadn't meant to scare her...
" Yes, I- I'm sorry, Darling, I just don't like some of those humans... They don't seem to understand anything." She told her exasperated. Papyrus nodded, clinging to her girlfriend's arm more.
" Some of them are rather... Uh... rude..." She agreed, inching closer to the robot as they passed some humans that were situated under a tree.
"Rude? They practically violated you with thier eyes! The things they said! I just wanna...Agh!" She threw her arm up, the one that Papyrus wasn't clinging to, and flipped her ponytail dramatically.
"Well, I'm sure they didn't mean it... To be as lude as it sounded...?" The younger Monster suggested meekly, to which Mettaton laughed humorlessly.
"You're far more optimistic than I, Papy... That's why I love you though." She smiled and nuzzled the Skeleton lightly, Making Papyrus giggle adorably. Mettaton laughed a little and nuzzled her more, her grin widening when it elicited more giggles and happy sounds from the shorter girl.
"Nye-he-he! Stop it Metta~!" Papyrus lightly batted at her, still smiling widely as Mettaton continued showing her affection vehemently.
"No~ I don't think I will, dearest~! You're just too cute! A girl can't help wanting to snuggle you!" She teased, her happily.
Papyrus laughed as the two stopped on a warm hill away from almost everyone else. Mettaton smirked and picked the Skeleton up, making Papyrus squeak a little at the sudden movement.
Mettaton plonked down on the hill, still holding Papyrus, before transferring her to her lap, content to just hold her. Papyrus sighed dreamily and leaned back into the robot's chest, looking out at the warm sunny late afternoon that surrounded them.
"I like this... Just you and me..." Papyrus mumbled quietly, not wanting to break the gentle atmosphere that has settled on the pair. Mettaton hummed softly in agreement, holding her partner closer.
"I do too... Plus this park, It has some of the most beautiful scenery.." Mettaton whispered, looking back down at Papyrus with a small smile. Papyrus blushed and laughed a little, the sound gentle and warm.
The two were silent for awhile, enjoying the moments with eachother, watching as the sun started drifting lazily down below the horizon, basking the whole city with gorgeous oranges and reds. A light breeze swept some of Mettaton's hair to the side, and she let out a breath of utter relaxation.
"... love you, Papy." Mettaton whispered sweetly, causing Papyrus to sigh happily and look up at her.
The two smiled and rested thier heads together in a sign of affection, snuggling closer together when the breeze started to turn a bit colder as night began to fall.
"I love you too, Ton-y."
