*Let's see if I can get in my car before Ben finds a way to wreck it* Mr. Baumann thought. Frowning, he approached his car and opened the door.
He glanced at the empty streets. *Ben will appear soon. I just know it* he thought. His shoulders slumped after he viewed Ben stepping back.
''At least Ben isn't near my car,'' Mr. Baumann muttered. He glanced from Ben to his car. *I might be able to get in my car after all.
I can run errands without worrying about Ben.* Mr. Baumann tilted his head to one side after he saw Ben's wide eyes. *Why are you stepping back,
Ben?*
Mr. Baumann's eyes widened the minute he saw Dr. Animo on a giant frog. He recognized the villain from Ben's past battles. His frown came back. *At least Dr. Animo is distracting Ben now* he thought.
''You are not going to defeat me this time, Ben Tennyson,'' Dr. Animo said as he grinned.
The frog's tongue stretched to where Ben stood. Dr. Animo scowled after Ben rolled out of the way. He watched as the frog's tongue stretched again. His eyes became wide behind his goggles after the tongue struck Mr. Baumann's car.
Mr. Baumann viewed his car falling on its side. He winced after windows shattered from hitting the ground. After gasping, he trembled with rage. He faced Dr. Animo and the frog. Mr. Baumann continued to tremble. Dr. Animo was his new enemy.
