Parvati was leaning on the arm of the sofa in the Gryffindor common room. Her sister had come by saying that she had something important to discuss, and here she was
"Could you repeat that?" Parvati said with a bored look on her face.
Padma, who had been pacing in front of her sister, stopped and sucked in a breath, looking irritated that her sister wasn't listening to her. "I think I'm having a feeling. How do I make it stop?"
Parvati's brows furrowed in confusion. She sat up and made a 'go on' motion with her hands. "Define this feeling."
Padma frowned before shaking her head. "It's this...warm feeling. I don't know how to explain it."
"Padma the Ravenclaw doesn't know how to explain something?" Parvati mocked with a gasp and covered her mouth. "Is the world coming to an end?"
Her twin scowled at her before slamming her arms down in frustration. "This is serious Vati! I have never felt like this before."
Parvati sighed and leaned back on the arm of the sofa. "When did you start feeling like this?"
"Well…" Padma bit her lip. "...It was after our quidditch team won against the Hufflepuffs. There was a party, and I was dancing with Corner. I don't know what it is about him, but we were intimate. Now I have these feelings." She shook her head. "Help make them stop."
Parvati blinked at her sister. "I didn't even know that you were sexually active."
"That's what you got out of that?"
"As your sister, I should know these things."
"Parvati!"
Parvati raised her hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright. I didn't expect Michael Corner to be your type…"
"I swear to Merlin…" Padma gave Parvati a warning look. "I'm coming to you with this, and now I'm starting to regret it."
"I'm sorry," Parvati said. "It's just...odd hearing about my sister enjoying shags with Michael Corner."
"Can you help me or not?" Padma questioned.
"I think I could do something about that," Parvati said, tapping her chin. Padma grinned and bent over to hug her sister. Parvati swatted her away. "That's not necessary, really."
The two of them giggled simultaneously before Padma gave Parvati a nod. "It may not seem like it all the time, but I'm glad to have you around." She turned on her heel and left. When Parvati was sure that Padma was gone, she let out a huge breath.
"I don't know how much longer she's going to feel that way when she realizes that she actually fancies him and there's nothing I can do about it." Parvati switched her position to lay on the entire couch, sighing softly and shaking her head.
