Author's Note: this is my first Naruto fanfiction and it is very short, which i apologize for, so please go easy on me lol

"Sasuke! You can't leave again!" Naruto screamed, tears in his eyes, as he raced to the front gates of the village. Sasuke stopped in his tracks. He turned around and faced Naruto.
"You can't leave me!" the blond continued, tears now fearlessly rolling down his cheeks. "Please don't go" Naruto threw his arms around Sasuke's neck, pulling him into a tight embrace.
"Stay…Please!" He whispered in the black haired ninja's ear.
"I have to leave Naruto. I need to train, but I promise to return this time." Sasuke whispered back.
"Do you promise to keep on loving me?" Naruto asked shyly.
Sasuke let go of Naruto and reached into his backpack. He pulled out a flash of red. He held up the dozen roses, eleven real and one fake. He handed them to Naruto.
"Why is one fake?"
"To tell you that I'll love you until the last rose dies." Sasuke leaned forward and kissed Naruto, feeling the blond's salty tears on his lips.
"Goodbye…..for now, Love." With that Sasuke turned around and walked through the gate and out of the village.
"I love you!" Naruto shouted. Sasuke turned, waved, and than continued on his journey. Naruto clutched the roses to his chest.
"I'll love you forever too" Naruto whispered to himself and he watched Sasuke's rapidly disappearing figure.
