"Happy Birthday, Buchou!" Kirihara Akaya greeted his Captain enthusiastically. "I bought you a present! See?"
He thrust a neatly wrapped present at his Captain.
"Akaya, don't bother your Captain so early in the morning." Sanada rebuked. Yukimura smiled. "It's okay. Thank you, Akaya."
Akaya beamed and ran off to practice, leaving Sanada behind with his Captain.
"Happy Birthday."
"Thank you."
The Captain and Vice-Captain stood side by side, watching the Regulars warm up.
Yukimura turned and smiled at Sanada. "Why don't we go join them?"
Sanada nodded and started towards the field where the tennis team crowded around the birthday boy, cheering and yelling.
Later that day…..
Yukimura smiled to himself. This was the best present he could get, spending his birthday with the people he cared about most.
"Buchou! Come play match with me!"
Grabbing his racket, Yukimura nodded and joined his friends on the tennis courts.
